Thread: Newsletter Focus Thread
The May SWG newsletter went out last night and if you haven’t received it yet, you won’t receive it from the automatic mailer system. Getting the newsletter is very important so what Q-3PO and I have done is put together a quick focus thread to help out those of you who reported problems:ffice

If you feel you are having a newsletter delivery problem:

When did you last receive the newsletter, if ever? -
Did you double-check your email spelling? -
Did you double-check your station account? (There is a flag for stopping all mail from the Station which includes SWG) -
Does your email have a spam filter?
Please post your answers so we can get a good feel for what’s happening on your end. If the first 3 are yes and the last is no, post a “yes”.If you are not receiving the newsletter pleasesenda PM to Jeassa with your email address (please make sure this is the one that isregistered toyour account and we will send you one manually.
Also, we will have the newsletter archive up soon as another way to reference the info.

I just got it last night and I think I know why some people don't get it.
The newsletter go's to your station email address not your forum email address. Goto your station profile and make sure that is the correct email address.
My email is correct and I do not have a spam filter.
However, I can't seem to find the flag that stops emails coming from the Station. Could you point me in the right direction so I can check that?

- it has a spamfilter and the newsletter-adress isadded to friendlist ...

Where is the flag, I can't find it looked in both My Profile and my account?
Also, does one have to verify ones e-mail address in My Profile to receive the newsletter

- Yes, but email is filtered to another folder which is also devoid of any SWG Newsletter.
You keep telling everyone that is our faults as if we don't know how our email works. The people here are much smarter than that and it's kind of insulting to tell us otherwise.
P.S. is there anyway you can not use Office to post? Cant quote you for crud because of it.
