It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, honestly. Because you can't tell when they're going to do something incredibly...stupid.

Yes! Good call. Now the progression from Novice to Master will move a bit more quickly. I'm assuming "Experience Type" extensions mean they're either allowing the Inspirations to affect xp income for professions such as scout and artisan?

Downside to the update....perhaps as a caveat to our new usefulness to rangers and/or crafters? It's a strange change, in my eyes....why?

Was anybody able to test an SEA on the power of the Inspirations before? Did they only affect time, or was there some sort of advantage in power as well? I'm not sure that 10% could have been considered "unbalancing," but maybe they're preparing for more powerful abilities to be given by Elite performers.

*keeps an open mind*

No devs made it clear that it will always be 10% no matter what.
I assume now its 5% always
Makes sense since you can mix the buff from several people together. Now consider one would give 5% the other 8% and someone 12%. you had listend to all 3 while building the buff, what power would your buff have?

Or Holodisks? Or a targetted ability that stacks?

Anyway, the other two things are awesome changes... and this one should be something that might be open to tweaking later on down the road even if we don't get anymore info just yet.

Oh, I didn't mean the exact same type of buff, but similar, yet more powerful buffs available from Elites. (Instead of a+5 bonus to assembly, Elites can give a +10 bonus to experimentation, etc.)

Yes, those have been mentioned in the past, haven't they...

She's saying a different person can "recharge" the buff.

They do not

I was simply saying that the fact that a buff no matter if a Novice Entertainer or a tripple Master Ent/Dancer/musician does it is always 10% (well now 5%) is most likely connected to the fact, that you can just recharge the buff, unlike on live where you can't get new buffs while you still have one.
Lets say you have a buff of 3 hours from a tripple master and its 10%. Now after 2 hours you go to a Novice Entertainer, who would buff for 5% (I know they do NOT - its just IF it were that way). You recharge your buff to 3 hours... but is it now 5% or 10%?

... but it's only the speed of application that changes, not the buff itself. *is still confused*

Ok, on the increased types of XP the bonus works on... for ID, it's doing the 5% (yay!). No bonus for Dance or EH XP still though. I wonder if that's a bug or intended?

It would be nice to see a list of the XP incomes that are supposed to be feel the effects of these inspirations...
