I'm still not sure about it, but now that i've played a few hours in my home environment, with friends and those that I used to buff, I'ts not so bad. I am sad however that i cant wear any of my fashion armor or my RIS Leggings. Sooo i was thinking, why cant those who are purely "non combat", who are masters of entertainer, musician, dancer and ID professions, be certified in all armor and weapons? we have no skill points to put into anything else, so its not like we can actually use the equipment for anything but to enhance our performance.

I really think the dancers and non-combat folks in general will get what is due to them sooner or later...really i think it will happen. Dont give up hope. Once this CU thing is out of the way things will settle down and it will be enjoyable again.
Sorry for all that getting killed as soon as you walk out the door but ....im for hire as soon as i figure out how to shoot again
I guess I got what was coming to me...I came up as a level 30 person, and I can't use most of my pistols.
my FWG5, my DX2, my Republic Blaster...I didn't even check my Geo Blaster, I logged out because I was crying.
This was not fun.

How sensible is it that I'm grouped with a level 60 and fight a level 50 voritor to have it do 60 damage and give me 1 experience point, then ungroup and have it do 570 damage and incap me for zero experience points? What magically changes the power of a creature just because I'm grouped with someone? I go out with Imaji's alt who is a little lower level than me and we can't find anything on our home planet of naboo to get more than 1 point of experience from. We go to dantooine and bols are about all the two of us can handle although I still get incapped enough to clone two times in a 20 minute period. Later last night I go with some friends in a 3 people, 3 pet group and take on bols, grauls, and pikets. This one goes fine I get great experience for both rifle and CH but its also boring because I spend all my time trying to react fast enough to get a hit in before the 2 level 80's and their pets drop the creatures. So now combat is either overly dangerous or as boring as it always was, no real in between. When you do take a challenging mission you are so focused on the button bar you can't enjoy the encounter. I didn't like the uber state we were in but this level based non-sense is just that non-sense with no way to tie the actions to logic. It is so immersion breaking it is ruining a big part of the game for me.
Yeah Elwyn will have problems, he has some really low faction ratings with various shady characters, but over all we entertainers are the only enjoyable profession at the moment. I know I got several good bye messages yesterday so it doesn't look good for SOE. I'm seriously thinking of dropping my alt because the combat is so bad.
Deli'ah,
I am so sorry sweetie. Entertainers really got screwed hard on this one. I am not happy with how they were treated at all. They have had their income ripped from them, the lives if they try to leave a city, and their dignity. It is a sad sad time for entertainers.
