What is the main difference now between Dancer and Musician ? is it needed to have both ? reason I ask is I have a character I play that is used to buff my guild Master doc/ dancer 4/0/0/0 and musician 4/0/0/0 and I would like to maybe just go master dancer rather then have the musician.. any input thanks...

There are no more mind buffs, and doc skills have changed. I'm not sure what's happened with the Doctor end of the buffing, but our buffs are now an Inspiration buff that gives a small bonus to faction points, xp, and crafting successes. Any entertainer can give it, not just a master, and the buff is passive. In other words, the entertainer doesn't have to do a thing for the buff to work. The person who wants the buff merely has to /watch or /listen to an entertainer to get it.
The only thing having master or both music and dance gives you is the ability to do the buff quicker.

I guess I am curious though is it the same exact buff for both skill sets ? before they were totally different are they just different now in your taste of dancing versus music ?

Nor is there any difference between a Master Elite Inspiration buff and a Novice Entertainer Inspiration buff, except the Elite profession can apply it a touch faster.

I hate to point out the obvious but one lot dances, the other plays sweet(?) music ![]()
