I've been working on the Theater Quests off and on for a while now. This morning, I finally had the 30 people watch for what I thought was my last performance. It was close to server shutdown, but I thought I had time to finish before the servers shut down...
I didn't realize I'd started too late until I was disconnnected from the server (they liked me is the worst part).
When I went back after server restart, the Theater Manager treated me like he'd never seen me before. While I realize it's not all that big of a deal if I have to start again from scratch, it's annoying, and I was looking forward to trying out Theatrical.
Short of trying to contact a CSR (and I'm not sure how to do that, I filed a bug report, but I don't think that's the same as a ticket), what are my options? If I have to contact a CSR, what's the best way to do that?
Thanks

You'd have to submit a ticket. Go to the holocron menu, you have to search the knowledge base first to get the option to enter a ticket (at least I did last time I tried. I put in Theatrical and got the helpful answer "What is a Rodian" lol). Anyway after you view a knowledge base answer the button "Submit a Ticket" will light up and allow you to enter your problem there. A CSR will contact you or email you back if you are not online.

Thank you very much Goldy. I had seen that screen months ago, but could never find it again.
You're a lifesaver. ![]()
Thanks again

Just so everyone knows, I've heard very good things about CSR JasonP from Lowca before. He contacted me about 4 hours after I filed the ticket, teleported me to Coronet with the proviso that he didn't know if there was much that he could do for my problem.
I lead him to the Theater, confirmed I had the starter text and he got me through the first 2 promotional segments of the quest. He said he couldn't take it any further than the point where I have to perform for 30 people. So, I accepted that part of the quest and Thanked him profusely.
Now to go bother my guildies again.
So once again. Thank you CSR:JasonP (of Lowca).
Thanks

Wow... well he saved you 2 of the 3 promotional quests, so that is something at least.
I personally hated the promo quests... begging people to watch her is NOT something Dejah Thoris would do, so I just had to wait and hope people would watch ME when I was in a band... and ask guildies on OOC chat channels (*I* can ask... but *Dejah* can't... LOL). It was very annoying to have to do this.
I still say if someone is watching or listening to THE BAND they should get credit. After all you may only type /listen on Joe to my left, but if we are playing together, you hear us both. (Same goes for dancing... you see everyone not just the one you /watch.)

Goldy, you forgot the part where after submitting the ticket, you get a response back saying "We are sorry you are experiencing a problem with the theater quest. The devs are aware of this problem, but we are not able to adjust your quest status. If you have any additional feedback, please submit a /bug report. Have a nice day!"

Oh mine usually says:
"Thank you for your ticket. This is working as intended. Have a nice day."
