By entertainer quest do you mean a mission from a terminal or a quest you took from an NPC?

If from a mission, they still work. I did several last night for both music and dance with no problems. Just be certain you actually took the right kind - I made the mistake of taking 2 dance ones and then decided I wante dot play music instead so those missions are still sitting in my datapad.

When doing a mission terminal mission, at least it used to be this way and I've not tested it to see if it changed, if you stopped dancing the clock essentially reset. Unlike a destroy mission if I shoot half the lair and then go afk to answer the door, I can simply come back and shoot the other half and it's done. With entertainer missions I have to start the 10 minute timer again. Also I used the ingame timer mechanism once and noticed that the timing seems to be off, sometimes by a significant amount. So the missions aren't exactly 10 minutes.

If you took a quest from an NPC which one was it?

First keep in mind that the WP is always in front of the building. You need to go inside the building to perform to complete the mission. Second, some ent missions are music and some are dance. Check the text of your mission and see if it tells you to "play" or "dance". It would be nice if their was clear wording or a special icon to indicate whether a particular mission is for a musician or dancer, but there isn't. Sometimes the wording can seem a little vague as to which it is, but if it asks you to "play" then it's probably a musician mission.

Ah. That's Theatrical 1. The Choreographer (with the command string name error) standing next to the Entertainer trainer in the theater gives you Theatrical 2. Or she used to. Now she just keeps saying, "practice some more and come back..." But I've maxed Dance xp doing Theatrical 1 three timesnow, even dropping Master Dancer and one whole line of boxes to keep track of xp gain the second time. And I've maxed dance xp doing Theatrical 1 yet again. Still no Theatrical 2.

Yup..that's the first one. Everyone ask around and see if you can find ANYONE who has been able to obtain Theatrical 2 in the past few months, please!

I got Theatrical 2 about two weeks or so ago. After getting the 100,000 dance exp to qualify, I went to theNPC in Theed with the name of htt.choegrapher.wwttall (I think you all know who I mean). Anyway she said that I qualified to learn the new dance moves but I had to spend 400,000 dance exp to get it.

After getting 400,000 dance exp I was able to spend it to get the dance.

You only had to do 100 k? =o( mine was roughly 400k, hehe but I turnedinhalf thexp at the village and had to earn another 200k dance xp before I could "pay" for the song. =o/

If you don't get the onscreen pop-up while dancing then it is still broken for that character. That is the way I believe it works now, the game itself lets you know when you are done. I had even traded the XP in at the village didn't matter, it ticked out the 400K XP and told me when I was done, and it was pretty close to on the money after I did the numbers on what I had traded in and what I had at the moment it told me I was done.

Ok..gotcha..and thanks for the clarification. When we first started noticing the bug I was still getting reports of people who were able to get Theatrical 2. I hadn't gotten any in the past couple of months so was starting to think maybe it was the quest itself that was bugged instead of the xp counter (random, per character, things are harder to fix).

personally, I like to use /echo. it's easy to remember and it has other good uses. a simple macro would look like this:

/pause 600; /echo *****quest done*****


you could also use the alarm feature in game, however I don't have speakers on and tend to miss system messages. here's an alternate version:

/alarmAddIn 0 10 *****quest done*****


both macros assume a 10 minute timer, and you can use colors in the text so they stand out.

Shi'ann covered the points that cause us to fail these missions. You have to be inside the building, although the waypoint given for the mission is at the front door of the building. Some of these missions are for music and some for dance..have to do whatever the mission requires.

Very glad to hear you were able toget Theatrical 2! You're the first confirmation I've received in a couple of months and, with all the reports of dancers unable to get it, I was starting to think that it was completely broken (which probably would have been easier to fix than a player specific bugbut at least now we know).

I'll go poke that theatrical2 lady in the eye with a sparkler again tonight. I think I tried since patch but it can't hurt... me. Just her.

yeah I wouldn't give me theatrical2 either. But I didn't start out this nasty!
