Dancer Archive

I'm not saying to give everyone and their mother the ability to dance. This idea would allow non entertainers to dance with the presence of a dancer or musician.

Basically what I was thinking was that when a person is watching a dancer or listening to a musician they would gain the ability to do a few simple dances. This starts with novice dancer and novice musician and the higher the entertainer is the better the dancers are.

The dances would just be stuff like you would see in a club from people who have never formally learned how to dance.

Since a good portion of the entertainer's role is social I think this would be a good addition. Nowadays most non entertainer people do not have the extra SP to pick up novice ent for a party or what not.

I'm against the entertainer professions going to a zero point type profession. But I do see a need for ways to get non entertainers involved. I'd even be for giving everyone 2 or 3 dances, none that are currently in game, and a few flo's to do with them.

Yup, an Inspiration buff given by Dancers as "Dance Lessons" would be awesome.

Has anyone actually TRIED giving hte "dancer buff" or "musician buff" to a non-ent?

Since the WS buff is obviously able to be applied and work for jedi, who are non-WS.....

Yeah but isn't it a lot easier to ask for something if we can say "It would work exactly like this buff that lets people who aren't ent equip props"

but if it doesn't work if you aren't ent, guess it's a moot point then!

Yeah I know some1 who would love to nal dance with her man.

Anyway, I think this is a great idea since I usually hang out in cantinas with some fellow dancers, and I feel like the geek with two left feet who just stands there looking like a dork. Not fun. This would make hanging out in the cantinas much much much more fun.

Basic Idea: Scrap the /dance -Emote (Useless Twirling) and replaced it with a Loop of /basic1

I'm all for this too. It'sbrilliant in other MMORPGs when parties go off with bang as everyone starts dancing. Giving the ability to do Basic as an inspiration buff would so much fun. Just think of the Cantina Crawls with the audience joining in!
