Thread: Poll: New ID Make-Overs!

Hot Pink Twi'lek of Mystery
My answer would be #1. Twice. LOL.
I'm usually a green twi'lek. When I first logged on I became a rather flashy neon lime green'ish twi'lek for a while, and bought some holoemotes. Sometimes I like to be a little out there and like to get people to notice me. Then, later on, as it got later and I was tired of being all flashy, I got made over again, and became a very nice looking subdued dark blue. And, yes, bought more holoemotes. Hehe. Chances are I may change again today, and tomorrow...lol I'm having a lot of fun with the new changes, and will probably go broke from Image Designing.
I have a problem, and need help. Is anyone starting up an Image Design Anonymous program?
2) No.
Additional colors are fine and dandy, but I've been happy with the coloration of all of my characters since I first made them. Holo-emotes really don't hold any appeal to me at all, mostly because they're oflimited use and sort of remind me of "Hello Kitty" for some odd reason. I can see some fun possibilities with the new colors for many people, though the new timers just seem brutal from the perspective of someone who took up to (and kept)ID4 in the entertainer tree in order to do minor cosmetic changes like makeup and lekku style. Add to this the fact that there are still lots of open bugs with the mini-publish that are being documented on the Image Designer and In Live forums, and it seems like more trouble than it's worth right now.
All in all, I'm going to wait until the mini-publish has gone through several revisions before I even consider dipping my toe in to test the water. When I do, it'll likely be just to see what's possible, rather than to have any real work done; as thesaying goes,"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." One nice side effect of the change, though, is that I actually sort of stand out now. I'm one of the few people around without bright blue, pink, purple, red, or green hair now. Go individuality! *giggle*
I've had a flashy makeover of sorts. Wednesday night Kirah, Roho, Shailas, and I were coming home from helping the cause by buffing a raiding party. Shail went off to finish a mission and the ret of us were asked if we would like to be victi. . . volunteers for an ID design contest being held in our player city of Veritas. After a little coaxing we agreed. There were about 5 or 6 of us all together. We were each matched with an IDer. I got paired with the very talented Chaunia fellow Zabrak. Iusually lack the ubiquitous facial tatoos of the Zabrak race(I'm actually only half-zabrak on my mothers side but that is a different story.) Anyway Chauni went with a subtle look: A dark purple Mohawk-ponytail with small frontal horns and slightly larger side horns, pink eyes with matching lipstick, a pale pink "butterfly" tatoo and a new heart holo emote. An old friend who has just returned to the game, Iobea, was matched up with Kirah. Now my dear sister is no slouch in the looks dept, (look who she landed after all

I wouldn't call it an extensive makeover. The thing I'd hoped for in accordance with my character's backstory was that Humans and Zabrak would get more than just 255 different shades of tan. See, Rookery was born of a union between a Zabrak femme and a Zeltron Male. So in my mind, the horns are there, but she's also got the Zeltron red skin and purple hair. Barring the possibilities (at present, I can always hope) of red skin, I went ahead and got her hair done purple. I'll explain it away as a gradual awakening of the Zeltron genes in her.
To learn more about Zeltrons, the folks over at Wizards of the Coast did a piece on em in tandem with the release of their species manual that included em. You'll find it over at:

If there was EVER a planet to go to for a dancer or entertainer profession adventure, it'd HAVE to be Zeltros.

*giggles* It's nice when you are an ID yourself *points up*
Yes my main Alasrii on Starsider got a makeover. Her fave color is that brilliant shade of red that has now been coined, "Alasrii Red" by all the tailors in the area. She is a light purple/pink twilek and got her lekku marking color changed to that brilliant red, a slightly darker red lipstick and deep blue eyes. And Eshka here got 'thrown' into an ID tent and came out as a white bothan with blue hair.
They say the dye will come out soon though ![]()
