do i need a camp in the wild to buff or can i use on of those new droids? i want to drop scout so i'd like to be free from camps. thanks.

if buffing is allowed in the field, you would need a camp to do it in. The droids do not give this functionality.

Buffing only works in a Cantina or Hotel. You can't buff out in the field no matter how much that sheep pesters you for one.

You can buff in a tent or carry a house if you have the lots for it. I buff in the field pretty often. The only thing you can't do in a tent is heal BF, if you use a house instead you can (the house thing might get changed at some point).

What do you mean tent? What tent? The first thing I think of when you say tent are the ranger camps..?

Since we are talking about working in the field, could someone take the time to explain what can and cant be done as a dancer in a camp? Thanks.

In a camp (any scout or ranger camp), a dancer...

Can:

Heal mind wounds
Buff

Cannot:

Heal bf.

Deila Karlossi , Blue Glowie of Dancers, and become more powerful than you could possibly imagine...

NONONONONO!!! Don't even hint that the devs will take away the house option!!!! That's one of the things we do as the Bishops is drop a generic house down outside the battlefield to make it easy to buff, heal woundsand BF. (Granted, not that we've done much of that lately since there seems to be a shortage of player events on Bria these days.)

I have zero insider info here. I am basing this 100% on old posts by RM and Tiaga in here saying that they "thought" this might be changed at some point... I see no reason to bring any Dev attention to it, I love the private structure = ent heal zone

It was Miss Silly who first clued me in to the whole "Portable Party House" solution to BF healing here in the forum.
