Thread: Danceing, PLEASE HELP!!
Ij just started as an Entertainer, and im trying to get this Macro Sorted.
If I make a Macro, The one below, Then put the Icon in the 1st Slot on my tool bar, Will it Work?
Im a Novice Entertainer and Thats all.
Is there any way to loop or extend it?
Will it Work?
Please Help!

- if you are no medic, leave away the tenddamage part, you cant do this.
Also then drop the /pause 15
- the last command is "pressing" the command you have in the F1 key, so
thats the looping part.
- you can do longer pauses, 1 flourish per 10 seconds is enough for dance,
use /pause 9

Okay, we've poked fun. Now to see if we can bring one in from the Dark Side...
It's possible that we have a brand new player here who wasn't aware that our professions could be played and enjoyed thoroughly... they may just have been told by someone that this is the way to do it, and that would be too bad. Before going into Teasing the Macrotainer mode, I'll give the benefit of the doubt here.
WeaponsmithingFreak, did you want to play an entertainer, or are you lookingjust to burn through the profession trying to unlock your Jedi? Your forum name indicates that you'd like to be a weaponsmith... but it's certainly not unheard of to have entertaining weaponsmiths.
If you'd like to really play an entertainer, we can direct you to some great resource materials to help you get started. If you let us know what server you're on, we can even help you find a teacher. We have some of the finest dancers in all of SWG here on these forums, coming from a variety of specialized interests, and many who can show how our professions can be played to be satisfying and gratifying without the need to automate the whole process.
If you're just working through a holocron to try to unlock, we can direct you to some good resources for that too... ways that you can do your thing without disturbing the other entertainers earning our livings, and get through the process quickly and painlessly.

Thanks Delia for posting this. I readthe originalpost this morning , but due to time constraints (read RL job) I couldn't post a more open comment to it. It kind of bothered thru out the day that we may have made a bad fiirst impression on a new dancer. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and more often then not I am rewarded. I was going to post when I go home, but I see you beat me to the punch.Plusyoudid it alittle more eloquently the I might have.
