Thread: Cross Server TC Dance Party Date/Time Discussion
Fast guide to dancing on TC: If you start as an Entertainer, do your Tutorial Quests all the way up to the last one (getting people to watch you). Once you get that last mission, use your Travel Voucher to go to Theed on Naboo. Then run across the courtyard to the closest shuttleport and buy a ticket for New Unity.
When you get to NU, do a /find cantina and go go! There are "AFK Alcoves" set up off in the little side spaces, so if you need to AFK, use those. Ahsidh is the Cantina owner and you can read the rest of the Cantina rules at www.swgtest.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1543 . Jessi's shop is a few doors down (turn right coming out the cantina door, it's like the 5th or 6th door down that lane). The MAC shop has a big colorful sign and is hard to miss.
There are usually Image Designers and Tailors in the Cantina and most will be willing to help out a new Dancer. The economy is different on TC, so people are not usually able to just hand over large newbie tips like they do on live, but they will help you get started if it looks like you will be around a while.
As soon as you get up on TC, start lurking in TCPA. Do a /chat join TCPA to get in. Then right click on your Spatial Tab and do Modify Tab. Add TCPA with the little right arrow button and you are set! To speak in TCPA off of its own chat window, do /tcpa.
There are other Cantinas, Cities, and Tailors, but for convenience's sake and because the party will be in NU, this is the clearest instructions for a quick and dirty start.
Personally I'm Sunday friendly. I usually leave that day open for relaxing ![]()
As for times, anytime on a Sunday is good. Weekdays, obviously, sometime after work
. After 7pm EST?
But I'll definitely go with the majority.
Hmmm, not too many people have replied <.< But, a time of Saturday with the party maybe starting early then running late would work best for European players?
Okies, how does this time sound to everyone?
Saturday, June 17th from 2pm EST till 8pm EST. It can run longer if people are still showing up and willing to dance away
That gives plenty of time for people to at least make it on for a little while.
By the way, EST is -05.00 GMT for those who use that ![]()
Does this time work for everyone?
