Entertainer changes
- Added new /denyService command for Entertainers. /denyService will add/remove the targeted player from a Denial of Service list. All players on this list will not be healed by the entertainers performance. The list only lasts for the current play session.
- New entertainer skill name strings.
- Female MonCal image design should now work correctly
and as a side note, Master Tailors got their missing 55 colors back for even flashier outfits ![]()

Congrats to the tailors. *smile*
Hmm, looks like /deny may be implented in a future patch. Ah well, I disagree with it, but such is life.
Should this come to pass, I'll keep an eye open for any extortionists and perform for the people being denied.
Of course, I have no pity for jerks. *grin*
Bravo for denyservice. It's true that it could be abused, it's true that people can "get around it" by going to the entertainers who don't care about entertaining--but it's a tool we have been in serious need of for some time. It's no perfect solution, but it will at least salve our pride. Nobody likes being used.
Bravo to the devs for the /deny addition!
Most of my friends are entertainers (thanks for all the medical xp guys
), and there has been a time or two when the entire group had to stop entertaining because of one customer. It killed my opportunity to heal and the other patron's the ability to reduce their wounds, /deny will fix that problem (minus the afk entertainers of course).
Medics/Doctors don't have to deal with rude/obnoxious/disrespectful customers because they know they will be walking out with some black HAM bars if they do, this is at least a step in the right direction to ensure that the cantina-crews are treated better.

I've never spoken in favor of this option, but now that we have it I can only say "More options are good".
I'm willing to wait and see how it works, and hope it doesn't create additional problems with the image of Dancers. Personally, I won't be using it except in the most extreme circumstances, if then. If they're that bad I'd rather /report them.
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!
I knew it would happen eventually, as a dancer we had no way to CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES who profited from our skill.
This is a glorius day simply glorius!!!
I will be dancing in the streets when this go's in.
Thankyou SOE!

Ok I have a bit of a dumb question but the tailors colors missing is this why my Exotic Leotard which I bought in black became white for 2-3 days?
No, your leotard became white because when the bug that prevented it from being picked up once dropped was fixed, a bug causing it to always appear white was introduced. The tailor color palette has been missing the 55 colors that were previously granted in the artisan tree. Artisans were producing brighter clothing than novice tailors could, so the colors were removed and never replaced. That's why there is no player made orange, fire engine red, etc. (I think that's an accurate portrayal of events but as I wasn't in beta my knowledge is second hand at best).
Deny service? Jury is still out for me, but another option is always nice I suppose.
Hmmm not much for dancers here as far as this goes;

Seems like it doesn't really address our concerns at all the way they are gonna drop it in. The denial list is just going to reset every time you stop? That's rather pointless. Why not just tie the deny feature directly to who is on your ignore list? Who is really going to take the time to compile a /deny list everytime they start dancing in a busy cantina? Seems like they just created an extortion tool for lone entertainers in remote spots rather than give us the anti-griefing tool that we wanted.
Personally I'd like to see the entertainer missions made profitable and to hell with trying to get money out of the player base.

Well, for those who would /deny only the jerks, this shouldn't be a problem. How many jerks do you get in a night? I only see a couple in a night that I would consider /denying. That wouldn't take long at all.
Now, if there are a lot of jerks, then that is a big problem. And I'm sure the number of jerks will go down if they are all being /denied.
Of course, jerks will not disappear. Some people don't need healing. They just want to be a jerk. The /deny feature won't fix that. Also, if AFK dancers are still allowed, then the jerk can watch him instead and then continue being a jerk.
So, /deny is not really that big of a fix. It'll help if you are the only entertainer (or, as rare as it is, are in a cantina where everyone is not AFK). But said jerk is not likely to leave the cantina just because you won't heal him. He'll just sit there and pester you for a while.
I do see one good reason for /deny, though. A Rebellion dancer will not want to help out the overt Imperial. Of course, the dancer may be revealing his affiliation by /denying him, but them's the breaks.
