Is your dance routine hot enough to burn up the galaxy?

Come out and show us your stuff, this saturday August 23rd at 9pm EST at the new Vun Cantina on Naboo, Bria (5378, 2875). Compete against the galaxy's premiere dancers for a grand prize of 30,000 credits, with 15,000 for the first runner up and 5,000 for the second runner up.

The rules:
- The cover charge for the cantina is 100cr per hour. All contestants get in free for the night.
- You may dance by yourself or in a group of up to five. Each group must have a designated leader. The group leader will receive any prize and is responsible for splitting it up among the group members however they've agreed.
- Your routine should last no longer than five minutes. You'll need to send an in-game email to Lei-eara to reserve a time slot.
- A band will be available to accompany you with whatever song you wish. You're welcome to bring your own musicians if you wish, but note that music will NOT factor into the judging.
- Each contestant may only enter once, regardless of whether they dance alone or as part of a group.

In addition to the contest itself, you'll be able to enjoy:
- Local vendors (powerups, stimpacks)
- Food and drinks in the cantina bar at a discounted rate for the night
- Door prizes!
- Fireworks on the beach afterwards
- Wilderness guides from Keren to the Vun Cantina to make sure you arrive safely, leaving every fifteen minutes from 7pm EST to 8:45pm EST (meet in front of the Keren cantina)
- Arrive an hour early (8pm EST) for a special Roleplaying 101 seminar, for newcomers and old hands alike

30k prize! How can you say no?

I should mention that I will be scouting out talent for the cantina while I'm there at the Dance Competition.

Rates for Employment at the VUN Cantina go as follows:

1000 credits an hour for Master Dancers/Musicians/Doctors

500 credits an hour for Novice Dancers/Musicians/Medics

The shifts are 5 hours long during the stated Cantina official hours - you sign up for the day you want to be there. You can keep whatever tips you make.

The employees will form an entertainer troupe (band + dancers) which will tour each weekend to a different cantina to play in. I plan on making it a REAL band with good flourishes that also mesh in with the dances + flourishes. The dancers will also be doing an actual routine and not flourishing aimlessly.

We'll put on a real show!

Thanks to the Vun family for a wonderful night at there Cantina. I was very happy to make my apperance and introduce my "Great Ubese War Dance". Maybe someday we can use the large theater to see all the entertainers in the galaxy...i think that be great. Anyhow thanks to the Vun's and the peeps in the Bria Server...
