Hey, all. I just got novice dancer the other day and I'm doing the Skill Point Rag atm, looking for less than optimum skills that I can drop (I'm a master tailor with a few merchant and combat skills, and I've basically run out of points). I wanted to ask if it's necessary to maintain generic entertainer healing if you can buy dancer healing skills now. First of all, do the two effects (one from entertainer, the other from dancer) "stack"? And if they do, is the healing benefit from the entertainer healing boxes high enough to justify keeping it around?
Thanks for any responses.

You need entertainer healing to get novice dancer. You can't drop it, or shouldn't be able to drop it, with novice dancer. Once you start getting the wound/battlefatigue healing, it just adds on. They're the same skill modifiers (wound healing dancing, battlefatigue healing dancing) only entertainer healing modifies for both dancing and musicianing.

Actually, I was wondering the very same thing. I'm trying to squeeze every skill point possible to its max in my Master TKA / Master Dancer / few boxes of Pistoleer template. It seems odd that both the SWG manual and all the online skill trees show dancing experience as the only pre-requisite to obtain Novice Dancer.
Has anyone actually tried to surrender those skill boxes after obtaining Novice Dancer? Or just not training them at all?
If not, I'll postwhatever happenswhen I try it. (should be acouple days) Just the idea of more skill points makes the risk of starting over as an entertainer worth it to me![]()

If you look at the skill tree from in-game, you can see they are both required... dance is written above both dance and healing xp.
