Dancer Archive

So... here I amfinishing upthe series of Jabba missions to gain entrance to his throne room... And figured I'd share the floor with Oola since Ialso happen to be aquite decentdancer myself... And then found myself thinking... wouldn't it be cool if Jabba's throne room was like a cantina, where entertainers could heal mind wounds and battle fatigue. It makes sense that it *should* be this way. To gain access to his throne room, you are, at that point, somewhat trusted by him. It would follow that as a trusted vistor, you could partake in the benifits of his...'parties'. Not all of us dancers and musicians just go AFK in the cantinas and whine about tips. Some of us are out there playing the rest of the game too. Granted, this is a really minor thing, compared to a lot of the other real problems out there in the game. But, who knows, maybe something like this would be one of those 'easy' things that could be turned on with little trouble. Anyway... Make Jabba's throne room like cantinas, where entertainers can heal mind wounds and battle fatigue. Any takers?

I hate to reply to my own topic... but this idea could be extended to any of the 'end points' of most, if not all of the static theme parks. Wouldnt it be nice to dance for the emporor and heal anyone else worthy of his audience? I know all those rebels helping out 3PO and Leia must have big battle fatigue and mind wounds, outsmarting the empire and keeping themselves from being caught outright. Anyone?

Sounds great to me! All the more reason to want to get in, for the dancers and the more combat driven types!

I think it is silly that it was not coded this way to begin with..

I'm not at master dancer yet, But I believe it should be for only masters. So it can weed out sooooo many people coming out there, b/c you know they would lol. There would be tons of dancers in there. and that would look tacky. Maybe you could like make an appointment or something? Just a suggestion.

I was dancing with Oola in Jabba thrown room while resting after a mission and if I recall mind healing and battle fatigue were working..and I had the same idea as yours. Unfortunately dancing above a rancor pit isn't that nice

I play on kettemoor...and I had this exact same idea.

My character's RP background is that she was a slave in Jabba's palace for 12 years before a smuggler won her freedom from Jabba in a game a of chance... She now works as a waitress and dancer in a player cantina...but I am working the Jabba missions so I can get inside (only last missions to get into throne room left now)...

My idea was to roleplay being "re-enslaved" by Jabba and spending most of my time for a few weeks in the throne room dancing, etc for those who come in doing missions. I would fully roleplay a slave, at least until my friends manage to 'rescue' me again.

That's awesome. My char just got freed from her slaver. and was married not too long ago either.
