I will soon be mastering Dancer for a profession not a Holo Grind.

What I need to know is what is the proper pause between Flourishes so that I maximize both XP and in the future make my buffs the best possible.

Currently my dancing macro has flourish then pause 5 and repeats for all 8 flourishes.

I have heard that doing to many flourishes to fast is a waste and not doing them fast enought is also a waste.

Please Please somebody tell me how to maximize my dancing.

Also, I have not seen anywhere if the special effects help with the overall quality of buffs, anyone know?

1 more question I just thought of while I am at it. Is it possible to combine moves from the different dances? That would be kind of kewl and give more creativity to making an entertaining dance.

special effects dont make buffs better.. they are just for fun (and for wearing down action) hehe

"is it possible to combine moves from the different dances?" .. kind-of.... for instance.. if im doing exotic4 and think the crowd would love to see the splits i /changedance poplock2;/flourish 1;/changedance exotic4... it lets me throw the splits into the exotic dance and would work for basically any flourish you want (note: sometime pauses help to make the transition to and from dances look better)

Yep after awhile when you know the dances you can pick the best times to /changedance to make smoother transitions. Have fun.

You will only get experience for the flourishes every 8 seconds, so lengthen the time of your pauses to that.

By the way, this information can be found in the FAQ's that are stickied to the top. I should know, since I'm the one that wrote the macro FAQ.
