At master dancer level, does it matter what Dance you use to buff someone? Meaning if I use a low level Dance Vs Exotic 4 will I still double someones Mind no matter what dance I use? Kinda like when I was going up the dancing tree you had to use higher dances to get more exp.. Is this true with Mind buffs as well or can you use any dance?

Yes..it just takes a little more time. Tiaga wrote up something on his experimentation with buffing that (if I remember correctly) contained information about using different dances..I think this is stickied on the Entertainer forum (?).

Basically from that post from Tiaga the actual dance doesn't really matter. The dance type effect how much each flourish adds to the buff percentage. Top Exotics do around 35%, lowest dances do about 10%. Only 10 flourishes and no matter what dance you're perfoming you give a 100% buff (duration depends on ticks and flourish total).

I use basic to buff. Instead of 3:10, I dance for 4:00 on the dot, and have minimal action loss.
That gives a 2 hour buff.

You can still do a full buff in 3:20 (It's 3:20 not 3:10, though I suppose you could do it in 3:11 with the right timing) with basic. Theoretically quicker if you have food to help you. I tested with a buff that was exactly 1:59 (One minute short so I know I hit it properly) and both basic and exotic had hit it with the same set of flourishes.

Just tested it, Basic with Flo 1 every second and did a full directed buff in 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
