I don't understand those developers. They say they want to get rid of spam and afk 'players'. They think of how they do it, macros, then think lets stop them from using those macros to be afk, why not remove the loop. They pat themselves on the back thinking this will fix everything. They post it on the forums. And surprise everyone hates it. Someone says all the entertainers are afk, how are we gonna heal, devs think, wow that is a problem. We can't have wounded people in the game, how about we give them a way to heal there wounds without entertainers. That should make people happy. Then no one goes to the 3 cities with any entertainers because of lag, they Just take missions in an out of the way town and auto heal there wounds be cause its more convienent. Entertainer becomes a tough profession to master because you can't go afk, people are healing there own wounds and the developers wonder why people are dropping dancer. Now that there are so few dancers around, do we want to we want it easier heal yourself or remove npc healing and hope entertainers come back to profession. Anyone thats played for 6 months or more knows this patern.
They don't want to limit Just afk'ers, personal theory, they want to end CoB and healing macros. There is a game mechanic in game that sets you afk whether you run a macro or not, any mouse or keyboard use, you are no longer afk. It has a max of 30 minutes. If i ran the game i would change the /afk to /logout.

I think that to be a very good idea... just change /afk to /logout. AFK grinding is nothing anybody should do and after the jedi revamp there is no need to grind quickly. This would hopefully have some more positive effects on artists as well like opening up a market for mid level armor and weapons.

Go to Options in game... go to Chat tab... then click off the box that says "Show Chat from AFK players" BOOM no more AFK SPAM

Boom problem solved... Also try taking off your chat bubbles...... saves a few seconds of lag.... and don't have your graphics up so high. Problem solved again.

I am a Master Dancer/ Musician on 2 toons...

and also a Master doc Rifleman on another toon..

I can tell you this much i sometimes sit in coronet to do doc buffs... The most annoying thing is people sending me tells every 2 seconds on How much? How Long? where am i in line? Its hard enought buffing someone making sure you buff all their stats and to answer tells all the dang time.... So if they take looping macros that spam my Message of my buffs and how good and long and how much they are.... YOU CAN SAY BUH BYE to alot of Docs.... I know i for sure won't be buffing ever...Just my friends... So its not gonna solve lag caused by spammers... but will cause DOC's like myself to not want to buff and then no one gets what they want and more people leave game because no doc will sit there for 2 hrs answering Annoying questions... and those questions will only get worse when there is no macro to yell it for them...

So before any of you IDIOTS say YAY TO AFK DANCERS GONE!!! it also means YAY NO MORE DOC BUFFS WHEN YOU NEED THEM!!!! so think of all the professions it effects not just the spamers and the AFK dancers.
