Thread: Ten Questions to Buffbot Owners.
I just want the buffbot owners to answer these questions:
1) Do you think the current rulebook correctly depicts the current entertainment situation in the simulation?
2) What advice would you give to the new player on how to play these professions from day 1?
3) If you got a 20% bonus to enhancement for being a Mon-Calmari with the weight slider on maximum, what should a good entertainer select as their avatar?
4) What if your buffbot had to leave the venue (to set harvestors for your prime, for example) and one of your customers came in and said, “give me a refund on my /join fees, u weren’t there when I needed u.” Would you give the join fees back?
5) What do you call a buffbot that leaves the venue for any length of time to explore content?
6) Is formal 1 a broken dance?
7) What should a good entertainer in your eyes do if a buffbot is placed in another buffbot’s cantina and buffs for free?
8) How many dances or songs does an entertainer really need?
9) How will you answer the calls from players who say, “Entertainment is a joke, since nobody plays these things. They should wipe away the entire concept and give the thing they did to doctors?” To me, this is the next step in what the customers will call for when we live players are gone.
10) How will you answer the question from other players of, “I don’t know why I should tip a vacant toon a darn thing?” You really didn't think they'd want to pay for "/" commands, now do you?

What rulebook? Yours?2) What advice would you give to the new player on how to play these professions from day 1?
Actually give me a reason not to use a buffbot! Like... oh I don't know, talk, banter, be entertaining? Or how about responding when I spend 5 minutes asking for a buff before I hang my head in shame and go visit RoboKitty in her palace of automatic buffaloo. It's not healthy to eat at 7-11 for every meal either, but you know it's open.3) If you got a 20% bonus to enhancement for being a Mon-Calmari with the weight slider on maximum, what should a good entertainer select as their avatar?
Depends on what you want out of your character. Just like some CM's heal (really, they do) and some poison. I guess your insinuation here is that the chubby mon cal players are just trying to buff and not care about roleplaying and entertainment. Would you shame someone for getting +20 mind enhancement for free? Really, would you?4) What if your buffbot had to leave the venue (to set harvestors for your prime, for example) and one of your customers came in and said, “give me a refund on my /join fees, u weren’t there when I needed u.” Would you give the join fees back?
So they tipped a buffbot while he wasn't there? Hm. Odd folks, these potential customers of mine.5) What do you call a buffbot that leaves the venue for any length of time to explore content?
Mobile.6) Is formal 1 a broken dance?
Yes, grrrr.7) What should a good entertainer in your eyes do if a buffbot is placed in another buffbot’s cantina and buffs for free?
Learn how to put on a show?8) How many dances or songs does an entertainer really need?
About 4 more.9) How will you answer the calls from players who say, “Entertainment is a joke, since nobody plays these things. They should wipe away the entire concept and give the thing they did to doctors?” To me, this is the next step in what the customers will call for when we live players are gone.
I think that is a problem more of lazy entertainers than buffbots. I know plenty of entertainers that make a grand living. Besides, the chef revamp (Vasarian Brandy, Canape, Ahrisa) pretty much made dancer and musician buffs obsolete. Worse than a bot, you were put out of work by a game item. Where's the thread where you flame food consumers?10) How will you answer the question from other players of, “I don’t know why I should tip a vacant toon a darn thing?” You really didn't think they'd want to pay for "/" commands, now do you?
98% of people that use buffbots don't tip them. Trust me.
