Ok, so while I've been completely ignoring my RL job to be working my butt off on the forums for Musicians and Ents everywhere, instead of taking a break to do real work, I've decided to take a break to post some trivia (my memory was sparked by a thread in the Entertainer forum). Yes, it's been pointed out before, but I thought a thread designated to it specifically might spread the knowledge a bit, as it's not very used.
Master Entertainer gives a bonus to Dancing Knowledge. And Dancing Knowledge is tied to fall rates. So, if you're a dancer with Master Entertainer, you fall significantly less often than without
. I'd always wondered why it was such a hot issue since I didn't seem to fall very often as I've been training up dancer, and then Tiaga pointed out the numbers and I realized it was because I'd always had Master Entertainer.
Anyways, just something fun before going back to 'work'.

I guess I'm just going to have to fall more often if I need ID and music to improve my balance.
But, yes, I knew about this and don't happen to agree with it.

I have no skill points left for Master Entertainer, but my template is designed for my game fun and holding a spraystick isn't much of a bother. On the odd occasion I forget to equip it and take a tumble, it leads to a little light comic relief and a helping hand up.

No Master Entertainer for me. I would rather have a firm grip on my sword in combat than the ability to dance more gracefully without it.

I don't have the skill points for master entertainer either, takes too many for a slight impovement in how often I'd fall and for the dances I wouldn't use. I'll just stick with holding nothing and falling a bit more then give up my other skills even if the smuggler ones I have are pretty useless

Personally, on Flurry, it's a status symbol for dancers to hold an NSEL while Dancing....and this is even from a guy who does have Master Entertainer.
I think its nice that it decreases fall rates....but at the same time, I personally think that using props (especially my sparkly lance
) is more fun.
My two creds,
Danny
