Thread: Macro question regarding a Master Dancer/Master Musician toon

Hi, I have a master dancer / master musician toon. I setup a buffing macro that would startdance stopdance startmusic and stop music. Separate macro for flourishes. A problem I've been encountering is that it will work perfectly for say 3 hrs then all of a sudden it wont switch from dance to music or music to dance. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? And what might the problem be and the solution. Thx a lot

Let me save you the flames...

Most of the active posters here are against buffbots and afk entertaining and really have no experience with this sort of macro. I would suggest sending an email to one of the bots you've seen running the program and ask them how it's done.

Actually, I have a ton of experience in macros, and I know the mechanics of a buffbot macro very well. Know your enemy is the first rule in any conflict.


As for flaming, well - can anyone honestly think this is an acceptable way to "play" a character in this game? I mean, gimme a break, what are you going to expect - people to hug you and kiss you for spamming your junk all day and night in cantinas so that no live person can actually PLAY this game and enjoy it?


Takes a moment of thought before posting here. It takes one click to see how this forum community feels about this.


It takes freakin' less than a minute to fix their macro problem, if they'd just THINK about it instead of using whatever some random shmo gave them to copy/paste into the game.


That's what is so insulting about how our professions were killed - not by crafty macro'ers. By copy and pasters who have no idea what they're doing, not even that they're stealing customers from live Entertainers. Then they're so out of touch with reality, they come in HERE to ask us for help with their macros!!!!
