Thread: I need some Help from Buffing Dancers...
As I understand it, nothing you do will affect the amount of the buff.A master level dancer buff, assuming no SEAs,doubles (adds 100%)the buff recipient's mind pool. If the buffee normally has a mind of 1100, your buff will add 1100. If they normally have 200, you'll add 200.
The only variable is in the duration of the buff... and flourishes are, as mentioned, the way to get the maximum duration.
It is possible to get a maximum duration buff in3 minutes and 12 seconds. You do this by "overflourishing" completely legally. Here is what you want to do:
Step 1: start your dance up and have the client watch you
Step 2: /flo x; /flo x; /flo x; /flo x; /flo x; /pause 8;
Step 3: repeat step 2 for total elapsed time of 3 minutes 12 seconds

I've danced to buff someone and not flourished once (that's what happens when you get into a converstaion 
), and they still got over a 2 hour buff. I've done this many times. Obviously flourishing decreases the amount of time it takes (hence the effectiveness of the 30 sec exploit) but you don't have to flourish.
