Dancer Archive

Well, I just read the open letter as to the state of the game. And it would seem that for the next three publishes (6 months) the Dancers get no love from the developers. Unless some of our new dance steps are going to be in the space expansion. How sad.

Ahh well, this was not entirely unexpected. Still, what a disappointment...

Mini Publish 10.2

• Hutt Casino: This is a major Social Adventure geared towards Dancers, Musicians, and fast-talking Smugglers.

While the changes in publish 10 aren't directly dancer or entertainer related, they have the potential to be a very significant change to the entertainer professions. And both 9.2 and 10.2 will have things for entertainers, and allegedly new dances and music will be coming with the Hutt Casino. All 3 of those are within 3 publishes.

100% agree with Tiaga. Of course, it all depends on the type of entertainer you are.

Me, I'm a social entertainer. I do it because it's a great way to talk to people. I'm SO looking forward to the Hutt Cantina. And it's definitely within the range you specified. Not only are people going to go there to check it out (the social aspect) but it's supposed to be a place where entertainers can acquire new dances!

So,to me at least, it seems like we're getting a WHOOOOOLE lot of lovin'

Wow, I thought they were doing the Hologrinder-Jedi-revamp thingy in Publish 9? (Publish 8 was yesterday, right?). Did they decide to delay it, or am I just confused?

From what I understand there were two huge Jedi issues. One of them was how to become Force Sensitive. The other was the Jedi system itself. They're revamping the Jedi profession as well as giving them alternate ways to gain their Jedi xp, other than killing hoards of creatures

The Jedi revamp if Publish 9, the hologrind extinction (good ridence) is Publish 10.

Then again, this could be completely wrong and I'm just confused

I posted about this yesterday, though I tried to with a more positive outlook, and everyone ignored me!

Ahh, thanks for clarification. I though hologrinding woud be gone next patch...

Will there ever be content/changes made for entertainers who don't wish to just be in a intense graphics chat-room? i know many ppl consider these 'social' professions, but not EVERYONE does, so is there a chance we can get some of our actual requests looked at? eg. buffing our own minds???
