If your not in a group of more than yourself and your dancer you need to have the dancer /setperform on you or you wont get the buff..

Have everyone stop watching (or listening, as applicable) BEFORE the group disbands. Anyone who stops watching after the group disbands will not receive a buff. We've been testing this the last couple of nights & it is working 100%..stop watching after disband = no buff..stop watching before disband = buff. I guess this is how they fixed the buff banking exploit.

Does this mean that an ungrouped directed buff can still be stored? Or are all the reports that storing buffs no longer work based on passive buffs only? Has anyone tested this?
P.S. I keep seeing people complaining that the bots are broken and can't give out buffs anymore... is this why? Because the bot macro auto-disbands at the end of the buff? I guess if so, that's one bonus to using a live performer... and why I have been consistantly able to give out passive buffs with no difficulties.

If the dancer/musician is still dancing/playing when the watcher walks away, then he stops watching automatically after around 20-30 meters.
If the dancer stopped, then this doesn't happen.
At least thats how it used to be, not sure if it still is.

What I've noticed with active buffs is that if the player does not stop watching or listening (as applicable) the game stops them if they move a short distance from me (don't know how far..it's working so it's down toward the bottom of the list of things to poke at).

Yes..the buffee isn't getting in that /stopw before they are disbanded. I've looked at the scripts used by acouple of the bots who are complaining. The ones I have seenare disbanding within a very short time of when they inform the buffee that the buff time is complete..within just a few seconds. Considering it often takes me up to a few minutes to get someone to type /stopw (they're off fixing a sandwich, watching TV), heh..yeah..I think that's what they're experiencing.
(yes it made me feel icky to help the bots)
