Thread: Really stupid question but needs to be asked

Ok, I'm going to sound really dumb for asking this but I have to ask.
How do you perform a dance with another dancer and do the exact same flourishes like you can with bandflos?
Is there a command to do it like /danceflo #?
I'm interested in trying to get my usual dance and music partners to get together and do a well choreographed performance with droids provding background music and effects.

It's /bandflo as well.
Works for both musicians and dancers the same way, but they can't effect each other with it. That meanswhen you have both musicians and dancers in a group, all /bandflo's done by a musician will only have an effect onother musicians, and all /bandflo's by a dancer will only synchronize the dancers.

I think the quote you were trying for there was "There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots."

Thanks. I've been trying to figure it out and just couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I've got a great band flourish routine to use as a musician (love the cantina song played on a mando) and it sounds great but when we dance we look like idiots doing different flourishes at different times instead of looking like a professional troupe.
I'll be trying to create a dance routine to use with the musicians and droids to make it all look good.

i do think dancers can do the musicians bandflo's though... but only by instrument. something like /bandflo 3 mandoviol...i'll try it next time i'm in game. But i thought i could have the different instruments do bandflos while dancing too (not the entire band together though) if i'm making sense at all..

This certainly works for /bandfloing droids. I've never tested it on live musicians though... probably out of respect. Seems like if it works on droids though, it should work on other musicians as well, unless there's just a missing check for theoriginator of the /bfloin the droid code.

I tried to do /bandflo with a droid out while I was dancing and it doesn't work. It says your band performs a flourish but nothing happened. I was dancing solo and had the droid out for music (It feels weird dancing with no music). I'll try again tonight (hopefully) and see if /bandflo works while dancing as a group.

It's the /bandflo (instrument) that works on droids, not just a general /bflo.

hehe...well they (the musicians) knew i was going to do their bandflo's at the time...
as we were trying out a few things...so i doubt they found me disrespectfull
