Thread: The Oddest thing happened to me last night

I was 100k away from my last of Dancer wound healing 4 (I was 4/3/4/4 dancer). I was watching the system messages seeing how much healing xp I was getting when suddenly, "You recieive 126468 Entertainer Healing experience" WHOA! I thought that's too bizaar. It was 2 am in the morning and there was not but a few people in there. I asked if any other entertainers got the same thing and no one else did. I then checked my experience box and I had 500k of entertainer healing xp. I had maxed out. I went and trained to master Dancer. I came and danced for a while more and each tick of healing xp I got 2468 healing xp (I was maxed on Dance xp). Has this ever happened to anyone?

There is a bug where sometimes when someone stops watching you it causes the server to "think that you have stopped watching yourself". When this happens you won't get heal xp until someone starts watching you again and then you get a huge lump of what has added up in the meantime. If you log out before someone else watches you, I believe you lose the stored xp. I'm pretty sure that's what you experienced.

Interesting, I'll have to check my xp when I get home so see if I lost it.

once when i logged in i got 7k healing xp not sure why though i had lost connection while dancing but never got back on. When i logged back in the next morning i was behind the counter and i got that message

I got 2k this way once... lost connection while dancing and didn't bother logging back in then... and when I did log back in the next day, I got that message.

Yes, I've had this happen to me. Usually, If I see no XP in a tic, I ask someone in the group to select me and just watch me for a sec.

And in addition to that, since they decreased mind wound heal times with the patch, heal xp per tick has gone through the roof. You heal all you target's wounds quickly, and will get a few hundred xp per tick now - but only for 3 or 4 ticks at most, sometimes not even that.
Yesterday I had a phase in a pretty full group where I got over 4k heal xp threeticks in a row, and still over 2k for the next few following ones. So that was definitely not lag-induced. Almost seems like they brought heal xp more in line wth music/dance xp, because I don't think the faster heal times can account for that.
