Dear Sir or Madam, you are cordially invited to the first ever Entertainer Masquerade Ball…

As the cross-server entertainer community has grown recently, players from all differing servers have gotten to know their fellow performers and their mannerisms quite well, despite server boundaries. Which brings us to the first ever "Masquerade Ball"… imagine being in a room, with all the entertainers you know, but recognizing none of the names… seeing not one familiar face. A new character (new name, species, appearance, gender etc.) effectively serves as a "masque." Thus "costumed" everyone can fraternize anonymously while attempting to silently guess who is who.

When: Sunday, February 13m, 3pm EST, 12pm PST, 8pm GMT

Where: The Theed Palace, Theed, Naboo, Chimaera Galaxy.

Dress: Formal/Semiformal Ball Wear (Clothing will be provided)

Requisetes:

Pre-Event: Create a "masque" and email clothing request from "masque" to Katier. She’ll be distributing clothing at the beginning of the event.

During Event: Have a fun time. Don’t forget to take notes on who’s who as people may leave early and if attendance is half way decent, you won’t want to keep track of all the new names in your head. (/note will come in handy for this).

Post-Event: Submit your guesses. Please email Scylla.Masquerade with an email of the following format:

Masque: (Your pseudonym for the event)

NotDoasa

Primary Name: (How fellow entertainers identify you? i.e. Forum Name, IGN w/ Galaxy)

Bawler14, Bria.Doasa

Guesses: (Masque and corresponding Primary Name guesses)

Pseudo / Vaclyn.Egro

Misgnomer / CreativeForumName

Feedback: (Any thoughts, comments regarding the event)

*Examples in italics

The data from the above emails will be compiled into a post after the event, unveiling all names and recording which individuals fooled the most… fooled the least… guessed the most… and … guessed the least. As everyones will be unmasqued after the fact, don't do anything you'll regret.

Wow! This would be really hard! There are a few I could guess easily just by speech patterns or the type of greetings they give. The rest will be "nice person A", "friendly guy C", "generous lady D" hehe.

I would love to attend, but as it's on my server I suppose I would have to create a new account to join in, not sure I want to grind an alt at present.

I will look out for Masquerades on other servers.

Just to clarify the clothing orders need to go to Chimaera.Katier FROM your Chimaera masque character. If you add starsider.katier to the 'too' list I'll pickup the orders there too then and know I need to swap and make some clothes

I WILL be at the ball wearing a masque too as I have two accounts.

Oh and Caerwynn If you have the capability to create an alt please do, most people will probably be dancing basic so you won't be out of place.

Oh and Doasa UK is +8 hours pacific. So midday = 8GMT.
