Thread: Max buff in minimum time tests?

I have tested it.

I was able to give a mindbuff it 1:45 minutes.
Trying to give one in 1:40 resulted in a 1:58 hour buff, so I think it was pretty close

I'm doing 1 flourish every 2 seconds, it was simply for the reason that i don't like long phases of not flourishing when buffing, looks like i'm lazy
But now I'm glad i did it that way, a musician had the standard 8-second-5-flo macro style and wasn't able to apply a full buff in 1:50 minutes (I think she hit something like 1:50 minutes), after she changed to the 2 seconds pattern it was no problem anymore.

--okay, that came out strangely.

Was given a tip a few months ago that you hit the Accaragm, then flourish every 3 seconds for 3 minutes. that came out to telling them to watch you, , /setperform, saying it'd take 3 minutes, then typing /pause 180;/t *customer* okay, /stopwatch!!;/t *you* beep beep!

this comes out to telling customer to watch you (BEFORE they sit down or start meditating), Accaragm, /setperform, /pause 105;/t *customer* okay, /stopwatch!;/t *you* beep beep!

(Now expresses annoyance with, even with only a 3 minute delay, Silli customer says 'I'm going afk for a bit okay?' and then BOMP, they're gone. And...what can you do? You're not a doc, and when they come back and say 'it didn't work' well NO doofus, you didn't follow my directions!)

got mine down to 1:45..but had to change the flo pattern from 5 per 8pause to a flo and then pause 2 pattern. With the 5 flo pause 8 and 1:45 they were only getting 1 hour 50 min buff.

Has anyone been able to do any testing as to how fast a Master Dancer can now do a full buff?

I'm getting full 2 hour buffs with 60 flourishes (previously, ittook 120 flourishes). I use a (non-recursive) macro that I had to run 4 times, now I just need to run it twice. Not sure exactly how long it takes, but it's fast.

Why does this flourish-pattern sound familiar to me?

I've had my customers say I'm giving a full buff in 96 seconds. It looks something like this:
/flo 1;
/pause 1;
/flo 2;
/pause 2;
.
.
.

Yeah, I know it only takes so many flourishes every so many seconds, but that's what works for me. /shrug

And then its 1 second again?

hm, i might try that, but if its 96 or 100 or 105... doesn't really make THAT much of a difference
