Thread: I never practice enough for theatrical 2!

My problem is that the coreopgraphy trainer seems to hate me. I have danced theatrical longer than it took me to become master dancer, and still i need to practice a little bit more. This is what i have done:
I´m master dancer and capt my dancer xp and completed the dancer mission. I started to dance theatrical in big groups for 3 or 4 days but the coreography trainer refused to teach me theatrical 2. Then i droped master dancer and one box to get rid of xp, so i could start to gain xp again. Then i danced theatrical untill my dancer xp was caped again, but the coreography trainer still refused to teach me. Now Isearched intenet and knowledge base for information, butdid not find any answer.I sent a ticket to cusomer service, but they told me that they cant help me to complete missions, and should search the forum and the knowledge base. I keeptpractice for another day and a half, but still no succes, and now i sent a new ticket to cosumer service and explained very detailed what my problem was, and that it is strange that you need to search internet to complete a mission in the game. This time they told me that if the coregraphy trainer tells me to practice more, i need to practice more. So now i was tierd to se my avatar dancing theatrical, so went 100%afk and danced in a full group for 2-3 days (without loging off one singel minute). After that i talked to the coreography trainer again and...... she told me to pracice a little bit more. /cry
This cant be true! It must be something wrong? I have searched for information for hours but i cant find anything that i have not already tryed, and the knowledge base tells me nothing. If anyone know what to do, please tell me. I´m not a buff bot, and i have spent days in front of my computer to receive this dance, and its very depressive to give up now.

I feel your pain, I'm in the exact same situation. Doesn't matter how many times I cap Dance xp dancing Theatrical, drop Master Dancer and Technique IV and III, relearn them to burn up xp, and then grind away at Theatrical again - she just keeps saying I need more practice. Have a hug from me, because we're not going to get Theatrical2, that's for sure.

Ouch! Definitely sounds like some how the mission/quest got bugged for the two of you. I can only offer to make sure you file a /bug report everytime you speak with the choreographer trainer. I know I had started to think I was bugged as well but I finally got the pop up message that I could train after I think about 7 or 8 days (though admittedly I don't play as long as some people do). Sounds like you guys have way exceeded that so I can only think it's a bug that needs to be reported.

I believe, though since I don't have T2 I can't prove it, that you don't need to keep dropping skills and dumping all your XP. Some invisible tracking is going on for T1 xp gain, separate from total dance XP, and when you get a certain amount, you're done. Now if you are capped this will be hard to track, but I don't think you have to keep getting "xp" to learn theatrical 2... there is some other tracking code going on here. But I could be wrong, not having done it myself...

Thanks all ofyou for your support and kind words. I have reported that evil choregroaphy trainer (as a bug), and i think i give it a few more days of practice.

Just to let you guys know, I've sent in a report regarding this to the devs. Keep on bugging it.

I just finished this part of the quest last night (4/6/05). I knew I would hit 100k Theatrical xp at about 250k total xp and right on time the pop-up box came up. So either they fixed the problem, or it isn't affecting all users. My character was on Bria if anyone is trying to track the problem.
The only problem I had with finishing Theatrical/Theatrical2 dances and Western song is that during one of the performances, none of the audience members responded to me at all. I didn't even get their unhelpful comments. So, I just started dancing everything I knew and doing all the flourishes and at the last second it slid up to satisfied and finished the quest.

It took me 400,000 theatricl xp to get theatrical2.
I think perhaps it's not only the amount of XP required, but also the amount of time it takes, or perhaps the server reset also resets your tracked XP.
Just some things to think about.
