Several years ago I was active in a Mac GUIdev group and developed a friendship with a girl who lived in Australia but had spent the first few years of her life in New York. For Christmas one year, she sent me Tim Tams and I sent her Apple Cinnamon Cheerios.

It's hard not to want to react to posts like that. That's why the "all purpose AFK" thread was needed and still is I guess.
