Thread: *ahem* (grinding dancer?)
But, for some strange, and unknown reason to me, I've always wanted to try dancer. I've been thinking about making one of my alts dancer/MDoc, and was wondering, whats the best way to "grind" dancer? I dont like using the word grind but.....
Yeah. Rather than afk it, why not have fun with it and get me, Til, Aeschyl or Mell to dance with you?

So.... any tips form the dancing pros out there?
Dance with others so you don't get bored for one.
If that still doen't get you enough XP please don't AFK grind in public. go to your home and disappear for hours where no one will see you.
The trouble with thinking of dancer as a grind is, it means you aren't appreciating all the stuff between the start, and Master.
There is more to dancer than just Exotic4. There is Basic2, with flourish 8 -- always good for a laugh.
There is Footloose, affectionally dubbed the Monkey Stomp on Kettemoor. There is Formal2, so much prettier now that the base dance doesn't have you looking like a drunken elephant.
There is Popular, and Poplock -- the party dance and the robot dance. There is breakdancing. There is lyrical.
All of these dances are favourites of mine -- especially Bunduki, the new one! ![]()
When you approach dancer as though it's a grind, you're overlooking all the fun bits in between. Dancer isn't like - for example - rifleman. Where /headshot1 isn't as good as /headshot3 or whatever it's called now. (Heck if I remember, I just hit the icons.
)
Dancer isn't a "hurry as fast as you can because what you get in the Master Box is the end all, be all". Dancer is a "I have all this kick-arse stuff now, and I'm not even Master yet"! ![]()

of course, I never want to really just GRIND a profession and not have any fun! Its just In the past when I've tried to have fun with dancer I burnt myself out getting to entertainer x/x/4/x ![]()
But if xp is indeed faster after pub 20, then I will have a blast!

lol all right. Where is the better place to
So if it starts out boring, well.. it's not going to get better, because nothing changes except more dances.
But it can't be boring if you're dancing with Esh, so This isn't really directed at the OP, just in general.
