As such, the 10 or so FS boxes I have and all the quests that I worked through as a Dancer/CH and then level 14 Dancer/Musician/Carbineer are completely and utterly useless and despite the fact that I've been playing since launch, I get no veteran bonuses.
All because I refused to be a power gamer.

Well according to TH, there are some veteran rewards that all veteran players will get and some extra ones for Jedi that only the Jedi will get. I don't know what the general vet rewards are off hand, but I think you'll still be receiving some things as a veteran player.
I'm bummed that my days of dancing with a saber were short lived. I had something in mind that I wanted to do with it. I guess I'll just have to get some videos now while I still can.
I went the other route, First Human Master Dancer on Scylla (the 7 before me were Twi'leks), I never mastered another profession till the christmas Holo's, 18 Professions Mastered (all Entertainer/Artisan related except all basic ones and Teras Kasi) 19 skill boxes by the time Phase2 of the village in Pub 10 (3 free rows for 18 professions) box 20 was gained the day before the CU (7+ months later)....... last day of double exps for 2 year anniversary I Image Designed the entire Luck Row...... 32 days later Fully Temp'd Jedi.... once fully temp'd, never earned another Jedi experience point.
As much as I would like to see everyone get additional character slots, I doubt it will happen because it would mean that everyone with more than one account would just transfer from secondary account to main account and 3 months later the transfer has paid for itself and now that person only pays SOE $15 per month.
