Thread: Reccursive macros have actually bitten the dust the NGE?

Reply 2most of the /commands still work. Its the /ui action toolbarSlot?? and the /macro name commands that don't work like they used to. All those commands do now is put that toolbar slot item or that macro in the right click area.
While I like recursive macros going away... how will this affect changing clothes?
I don't use macros for that, but know a lot who do. I still have 2 toolbars full of clothes and hit the hotkeys when I want ot change.
Now I have to:
1) Press hotkey for pants
2) Press right mouse button
3) Press hotkey for shirt
4) Press right mouse button
5) Press hotkey for boots
6) Press right mouse button
7) Press hotkey for gloves
8) Press right mouse button
?

I'm on TC6 right now. I've tested both aliases and macros and they appear to be working same as before. Recursive macros are still working as well.
I just want to know why I keep hoping. And as someone pointed out... now you seem to auto-level too.
But all the buffs are active, right? Right? impossible to macro?
Anyone want to sell me a bridge? Beach front property? Please?

/breath
however a patron came in and had to ask me for a general buff. He said he just watched me and it was no good. The buff was not applied until I actually typed/inspire and selected General Inspiration from the list.
Pain in the butt thing was you had you have your mouse over him when typing /inspire which was not easy with all my gyrating the frankenstein dance. /inspire name works too.

It seems to annoy a lot more people than entertainers though. You'd think with such huge changes, they'd be more generouos to people with little things like this, just to get on people's good side....

It is just one more example of how little they really care if the current subscribers like the changes or not. This is about getting the game like every other game and stealing new customers from them.
I don't see a long future for me anymore.
