For any dancer that has an oldrespec token left- you better use it NOW if you want to try out any of the combat classes in NGE.

The reports back from TC-Coratis (sp) where NGE is active with existing players using the NEW respec system- Your respec combat class is based only on your combat class at the time NGE started.

This means a double non-combat master will respec to a combat professiona asLVL 1.

This is a ONEWAY street, if you are a current LVL 80 combat playeryou canrespec to an NGEmaster entertainer instantly and still respec as a LVL 80 back to a combat class at later time.

Get it? If LVL 80 now, you can remain LVL 80 while in a NGE combat class. If not a LVL 80 now, you will respecwithin NGE at yourcurrent combat LVL.

So, if you have one of theold respec token left over from months ago, reclass to any combat level 80, now. Thenwait for the NGEto go live inunder a week and then respec back to NGE entertainer. This way you will be able to respec to NGE LVL 80 combat professions.

This is pretty funny to me. Basically SOE is telling non combatants, that the time they spent grinding out their various classes is less important than the the time combatants did.

I'm curious to know how many entertainers are actually going to make the cantina their whole gaming experience.

Regardless of your skill set, the cantina only becomes your "whole gaming experience" if you let it. Especially with the new "no aggro" rules.

Sometimes I think people WANT to be victims.

QFE

I've got a whole list of things written up for Ikuri to go and do as soon as this hits live. Like all the location badges that we couldn't get without being in danger. Stroll down the Ryatt Trail past the feral wookies and webweavers for the badge? Done. Skip across the Krayt Graveyard for that badge? I am *so* there.Visit the Blue Leaf Temple? Take a leisurely stroll through the lost village of Durbin and pet a few sludge panthers? On my agenda. And that's just the beginning! With ateeny bit of help from a combat friend - *cracks whip at Jedi honey* - I can do quests like Jabba's Palace and get in to dance in his throne room. Or get the bolotaur mount from the Geo Cave on Yavin 4. Orthe Mark of the Hero quest on Tatooine. Or go loot glowy components from Mustafar for my ub3r-1337 dancer props! Or be a scout for combat parties! And so long as I don't go poking anything in the eye, I don't have to worry about taking the cloner express.

The no-aggro rule, even with the 10-minute compromise opens up a whole new world of gameplay for Ikuri that I could previously only have with my CL80 MCM. Ikuri will still tear it up with her mandoviol in the ME cantina from time to time, but she's not going to be bound there any longer for her gameplay.

So the "fun" part about combat is actually killing a creature, and not working together with a group? You can't have fun just being along with people who are killing, if you aren't shooting?

There are LOTS of things we can do, and this is really opening up a lot more things than there are currently, since a non-aggro scout role can be pretty handy in some cases.

Exactly. It's all about perspective. And yes the bolotaur was a PITA to get, but with the non-aggro, you just need a combat friend to help you killa fewTrandoshan slavers in Kachiro, talk to a few people, then stroll into the Geo Cave past theto the first room, pet the enhanced kliknikand scoop the box up off the floor.

Oh the possibilities...
