Dancer Archive

In yet another problem with the entertainer missions, I can't even DO them by myself. I'm a Twi'lek,stats are action 950, quickness 600 and stamina 400 (which is the max stamina for Twi'leks). I'm a Fencer as well as a dancer, so I can't put all my stats towards the action bar or I'll die all the time in the field.

To do the dancing mission, you have to keep dancing for a certain period of time and not stop or change dances. Even with a minor stamina buff from food (stewed gwouch), I ran out of stamina before the mission would finish.

So I guess to get my 160 credits, I need to find a medic to follow me around with stimpacks, or buy a 500 credit Tatooine sunburn drink or some expensive spice to improve my stats.

Anyone else having this problem?

Are you positive about the not stopping and changing dance part? When I did them, I played around it just took a while of dancing to kick in the reward. Try it again and maybe you'll have good luck!

Another tip for the dancing missions is that you don't have to flourish at all for the payoff. Maybe that will help

question: do you dance in the cantina, or in the waypoint at the front door?? i tried dancing in the cantina, for 10 or 15 minutes straight, and nothing. does it take longer than that?

Well, I don't know about dancing, but when I'm sampling I eat a combination of Dustcrepe and Starshine surprise and I can sample for hours without my action bar going down. As a musician just Dustcrepe alone works for me.

If you are on Corbantis server and stop by Narmle on Rori, I will even give you some samples for you to try. I'm working on being a chef, so I'm educating the public on the value of food. Shoot, I'll even come to you to give you samples. The more people who eat the better.

This is misinformation. Stopping to rest does not reset the mission. It just extends the length of it by the amount of time you stop to rest. I've stopped as many as three times to complete a dance mission. /changedance does not affect the mission either. I do it all the time when I'm doing dance missions. (I attend a lot of Rebel birthday parties.)

I've tried doing the mission with stopping for rest and it never works.

The only time I successfully finished a dancing mission was once in the Anchorhead tavern, and then there were medics around healing me.

I dance through my stamina bar several times before giving up (usually 20-30 minutes, once for over an hour).

I dance inside the building, not on the waypoint.

I've failed to finish the mission in the Mos Espa Hotel and also in the secondary cantina in Mos Eisley where Valarian lives (where I danced for over an hour with breaks to rest).

The time I succeeded there were many people around, including medics healing me, which was why I assumed people were right when they said that you have to dance for a certain period of time without stopping. The times I failed there was at most one person watching for part of the time. Do you need people watching? Is it based off entertainment healing XP?

If it's not based off of dancing for a certain time without stopping I don't know what the problem is, because I've tried dancing for over an hour with breaks at one of the missions and it's not supposed to take longer than that, is it?

I've tried flourishing all the time, I've also tried not flourishing at all.

So what am I supposed to do differently?

you also have to pay attention to what level the dance mission is, and make sure you have dance and not musician (ive done that once or twice). the higer the mission, sometimes it takes longer to do. in my expirence, you dont have to do anything but the simpliest dance for bout 10 minutes stright (i guess longer if you take breaks??? dont know i thought you had to dance straight out but apparently based on the other post you dont just takes longer to finnish) i did basic2 with no flourishes straigh and i got my reward. ive also done missions while healing people and i still get the reward. you do have to be inside whatever building the waypoint is in front of. you dont have to do anything but dance, any thing else that goes on around you goes on. but this is in my expirence. maybe it different for higher levels i dont know. also, i dont get misions where they are more than 0 difficulty. ive tried a couple 3 difficulty and i never seamed to be able to have the patience enough to finnish them.
