Thread: Is a combat medic in the Cantina the best option for Ent Healing XP?

I've nearly mastered dancer. I'm sitting at 4-3-4-3 with about 3/4 of the XP I need for one of those 3s. Healing SP is coming REALLY slowly. I've been dancing my ass off for days in Theed and Coronet. When we have a combat medic and some willing victems in the house, the XP is good but it's so inconsistant otherwise it's really frustrating. Is there a town other than those two I can dance in where the walking wounded are plentiful and in need of my services?

I maxed out both healing branches before I maxed out one of the dance branches. Mind you, this was a few months ago. From what I hear, the winds have changed (some blame the new decay system).

But I got really nice experience in Bestine. Bestine and Anchorhead are so close to each other, that faction wars pop up often. The Anchorhead tavern is kind of nice, because it's also a med center. Medics don't have to go so far if they incur fatigue during healing.

And Endor has some lovely mind-poisoning creatures out there. See if someone needs healing out there.

Love Star Wars, but the few role-players I could find on the servers were outnumbered by powergamers who wanted only l337 l00t and mad skillz. I can't justify paying $15 a month to play a game by myself.
Still cares enough to interject an opinion, though.

TH: We won't get another chance of this, Helios.
Helios: We have no choice, General Thunderheart. Our servers can't repel lag of that magnitude.
TH: swgmod001 will have that thread down. We've got to give him more time.

I have done dancer twice on Tarquinas...I mastered dance in 8 days the first time the month of release. I thought I wanted to do the holo grind so I dropped it ALL (really stupid of me) about a month ago.

I had always prided myself that I was not an AFK dancer, but I will admit to the fact that I do afk dance now sometimes. I am ticked that I didn't keep master dancer long enough (by just days) to get the Badge for Mastering Dancer as this was my first elite profession and I kept it longer than almost any of the 6 masters before me---besides Pandorra *hugs* girl..miss ya I am now 4-3-4-2 and hoping I can get those last 3 boxes soon as I am dropping dancer for good on this char and am currenty close to novice dancer on my second account w/ my master doctor LOL---what can I say?, I love this profession!

When I first mastered, healing xp was capped before I had the dancing xp to get master..now it is so totally different. It is RARE to see those wonderful words flowing by "healing experience" when in any groups in the larger cities. I am so tired of cantina's at this point that I have resigned myself to do it slowly as I gain combat xp on the advanced planets. Xp is slow, but it is coming....plus I am having fun too!

I have found the factional outposts to be an excellent place for healing xp and some pretty nice tips as well, as there are normally few entertainers frequenting these places. Also, what some have never had a grasp on...GROUP HUNTSand RAIDS are wonderful times for us to get healing xp...especially Krayts, kimos, and nightsister hunts plus joining in with your guilds and friends makes for a really good time. These give alot of all wounds so if you have a large group the xp rolls in. Some dancers believe that the cantinas are the only places to find the xp for getting master...this is not the case I promise you!!! For those serious about dancing, enjoy the "grind" alot of the fun fades after master in the cantinas, take it somewhere else and see the higher end content the groups you accompany will be very grateful for you....that is for sure!
