Well, you all had me scared for a little while there, but now the photos are rolling in and it looks like we'll have a Galaxy Girls calendar for 2004.

The deadline for photos will be next monday the 12th of January. This gives you all next weekend to take those pictures and monday to mail them to me.

Because I'm getting quite a few photos, I've decided to do something different this time. Rather than one person (me) deciding who gets into the calendar, I'd like to use a panel. Who is on the panel? The Galaxy Guys.

Yes, those men who were brave enough to "bare all", and you know who you are, are invited to help decide who shall be featured in the ladies' calendar. If you sent me a screenshot for the Galaxy Guys calendar (even if you didn't get into the calendar) and want to help decide, send me another email at [email protected] and let me know.

Once the photos are all in, it'll be about 2-3 weeks before the calendar is finished, so I'd expect it by the end of January.

What sort of screenshots? Dancing ones? Swimsuit?

There's another post that gives some advice for screenshots, but I can summarize quickly.

1) As high a resolution you can get
2) No UI (press ctrl-shift-H to toggle it on and off)
3) Turn on shadows if possible
4) Screenshots that display the female body attractively. Have you seen the month-based calendars for sale at your local mall that show sexy women? Yeah, those. This isn't a formal wear or elegant wear calendar, it's a sexy calendar.
5) Interesting settings and ideas are a bonus. Please, however, keep in mind that in the end we really want to see YOU, not the beautiful scenery or that cool landspeeder you've got. If the picture doesn't feature YOU, don't expect to see it in the calendar.
6) No complete nudity. I'm aware there have been bugs that show nude avatars, but unless you want me to throw a fig leaf or three in there, don't bother sending them.
7) Don't feel limited to a single screenshot


Beyond that, anything goes. Some have shots of themselves dancing, others in various non-dancing poses. Do whatever you think looks sexy. If you're really unsure, ask a friend who is attracted to the female gender, I'm sure they'll give you LOTS of suggestions.

I got one of the alpha males from my guild, and offered to bare it if he would photograph it..........it was so easy! And I'm sure he took better pictures than I would have.

I actually want to do a couple more, but I think I'm finding fringe benefits from all this photography!

I'm really wishing I'd hired a professional photographer for this and a modelling coach... congratulations to the guys as it really is a whole lot harder than it looks!

Weee!!! So, how, like are we suppose to take a look at the pictures you getso we (the Galaxy Guys/Cantina Guys{what the heck was thename of our calander anyway?}) canvote on them? Are you going to send us an email containing a link to secret webpage or something?..

If you need help setting this up, I've got a couple of ideas...send me a private message...

Exactly, Ern. Once I have all the imagery, I'll upload what I think are the best options from each woman and the Galaxy Guys will pick which of those ladies they'd want to see in the calendar.

But we do it all offline and in email and secret-like so the surprise isn't ruined!

I'm going to send you pics, honest! I just keep forgetting. I've been spending so much time tailoring and hunting down rebels this past week that it slips my mind. A'Ri even put on her favorite outfit last night, for the purpose of taking a pic, and then was commissioned to create a wardrobe. I'll try to remember tonight.
