Thread: lookin for cool master dancer macro ideas (not an AFK'er)
i must not be too creative with the limited flourishes i get per dance, because i cant seem to make a good macro that doesnt already look like someone elses ![]()
the macro i usually do is.. Exotic 3 flouishes 1-3 <coz i hate the jiggle dance and refuse to do it> with a dazzle, etc after every other flourish <smoke bomb used once becuase its annoying to some ppl>. And i added 3 different leotards (black, grey, and yellow) to change after every flourish.
when i get bored of watching that macro, i manually /changedance exotic4 and watch the same 2 flourishes over and over.. and over.
so.. if anyone wants to share a cool secret or tips with me... im all ears.. lol

I am in the same boat- but my problem is filtering out the base dance, mostly trying to catch the flourishes at spots where when I change dances, my character won't go zooming to another pose. Tough stuff, but apparently /pause .6 actually is valid hehehe the half numbers help but not exactly enough.
One thing I do is trigger my light shows WHILE flourishing. So that when I am doing the exotic 2 first flourish where the character lowers to the floor- as they almost get to the floor I trigger the spotlight. It looks pretty neat. I try to time them to be at 'pinical' points in each flourish. And I also tend to move between exotic 2-4. (one seems to be the same as 4 only choppy- the flourishes are the same)
If I could just figure out those timing issues then I could make a few short macro dances- they'd eat up Action, I am sure but I don't mind ^-^
Hey, some people like the jiggle dance! ![]()
Actually, it's the perfect transition move between exotics, since it's the same in each one and you can change dance during the jiggle with no fits and starts. I usually start flourish 4, while I'm turning and jiggling around, I /changedance to exotic 2, 3, or 4 and when the jiggle is finished there I am.
I don't do flourish 2/3 in exotic4 as much asa lot of masters seem to. To me, it's just kind of raunchy...for sure it should be a highlight of your routine and not every other flourish. At least in my opinion. Getting down on the floor and doing the "belly push" should be a showstopper, hehe.
I usually do a routine something like this, adding a special effect of some kind ("fx") to each flourish:
- Start exotic4
- flourish 1 with fx
- continue exotic4, fx
- flourish 4, change to exotic2
- flourish 1 with fx
- flourish 2
- flourish 1 with fx
- flourish 3
- flourish 4, change to exotic3
- flourish 1 with fx
- continue exotic3, fx
- flourish 3 with fx
- continue exotic3, fx
- flourish 4, change to exotic4
- flourish 2 or 3, several fx (the big finale!)
- start over again
I LOVE using the smokebomb!!
I use it to change outfits, and sometimes to change dances. Your timing doesn't have to be as precise. ![]()
...and shake your chest like a cheap hooker while turning in a circle.
That flourish was pulled from another dance (I forget which one) to fill in the missing flourishes in the exotics. I seriously doubt it belongs there, and I laugh and shake my head at dancers who use it, but to each their own.

Er... Yeah rhythmic. Did I say lyrical?
I meant rhythmic. I knew lyrical didn't sound right, but I got distracted before my mind could figure out why it didn't sound right.
I only avoid lyrical and formal due to the base dance- which is why I am trying to outsmart it hehehe. Lyrica2 looks awesome on my computer but I can look at my fiance's screen and see me character having an epileptic seizure ( which is never fun. Just ask them. )
I enjoy poplock, especially after I found some MP3's that oddly fit the rythym (alternative music too strangely.)
Some of the lower level ones bother me simple because they have a whole different feel of 'spasm' to me. But I tend to be very sedate and like things slow and graceful. or at the very least- graceful no mater what speed.
