Thread: Poll: How do you think our new dungeon will work?

When I first read about this, I honestly had no clue what this could possibly be or how it would work or what we'll have to do. I hope that more people respond to this thread just so I can have some idea how it could work, even if ends up being completely different.
However, playing off of the above ideas, I kind of hope there will be parts that require teamwork. After all, the new dungeons, like the geo are impossible to do solo as far as I can tell. I went in there once and got my butt kicked, as did many of the other 19 people I was grouped with. I'd like to see it require that kind of teamwork. I would like to see dungeons and/or quests for various levels. I hope there are some for someone who can only do basic, but there are also those that might need a group of masters. I also like the idea of puzzles that need to be figured out. I envision a particular dungeon that may require people to figure out what type of dance needs to be done, perhaps what type of flourishes even need to be done. A very high level social dungeon might require a group of 10 master dancers to perform lyrical2 in unison with a very specific sequence of flourishes and/or effects that we need to figure out beforehand. Perhaps you will need 5 master dancers to be performing a dance while 5 master musicians are playing a particular song. And, then maybe the smugglers have to slice open a door, or use Underworld skillsto get us out or in at certain points. A private performance for a high ranking official that needs some serious bf healing behind a closed door. Who knows? I am very much eagerly anticipating what the devs come up with. If nothing else, it should be interesting.
Do you think we'll be running around inside the dungeon from NPC to NPC mostly? I don't mind running back and forth delivering messages or doing little tasks, but I hope they put in some fun puzzle type stuff too. Maybe little mini games or revolving and often updated puzzles so they have replay value.
Will there be reasons to team or will it be a mostly solo thing? I hope it works like the geo lab somehow so that it's possible to do some of the first few areas on your own but a big group will be needed to play it all the way through... or they could do the main part static and always open, but the questy type stuff could be done instance based like the corvette... either way would be very cool!
Will they incorporate our talents/skills any? I hope we get to "perform" our skills for/on NPCs. I hope there is some challenge and interaction involved and I also hope this will be an alternate form of leveling for those still training!
Most importantly, will there be a party area? Oh, I really hope so! The Hutt Casino idea sounds awesome! I hope all players will have fun stuff to do and a reason to hang out in the main area. I hope heals and buffs not only work there, but are enhanced and there will be cool gambling games for everyone to play. (with 3d effects, none of that "the wheel spins" text based stuff!)
... and what's the smuggler tie in do you think? Just lots of doors to slice or some really cool sneaky stuff? Bring on the sneaky!

(sorry, I'm starting to get a little bitter toward the dev's)
Sorry for being OT, but...
I think we all feel that way at times. I think it started out as a joke but its becoming true that certain terms are becoming swear words, "AFKs" and "devs" are after all "four" letter words. (Lei hopes no devs are actually watching this thread . . . but then realizes "Hey its the dancer forum no dev has been here in ages.")

Oooh, good question... I wouldn't mind if they expired after so long or a certain amount of uses, as long as it was a really long time (like 1-3 months maybe) or a whole lot of uses. If they put a cap on how many we can have at once though, I'm really hoping that's a pretty high number too... 10 would prolly be enough and would still leave some room for individuality I think.

Im wondering if we get "reward flourishes" are they going to be a permenant reward or there will bea limited number of times you can perform that flourish before it vanishes from you inventory.
