I am not part of a faction right now, but it sounds useful to people who are. I really like the idea of a more stable deny list! That would save alot of time.

/sign . . . this among other things, but definitely this! We shouldn't be held captive and forced to serve our enemies!

Sorry I think the current ability to deny service shoudl be removed rather then mroe added. It's not needed, it is unfair to deny service to a captive audiance. If you wan't this then I sugest that medics be given the ability to heal BF becuase it is unfair to give us a monopoly on BF healign and then let us deny the very service that if forced upon players jsut to get them to come and see us. You can pick and choose who gets your buffs but you should heal everyone who watches or listens too you.

This was just a post linking to the petition... your real /signs or comments need to go on that thread I believe.

Sultrina, the problem Silly brought up doesn't touch on bf directly. She was addressing the problem healing blue wounds out in the open (in a camp or just out side of a base) during a pvp battle situation. If you are on the base protection side, you can run down into the base to dance in the basement where the raiders can't see you... but, most of the fighting is still too far away for you to be of any great benefit during a fast paced battle because it takes people too long to run back into the basement from the field.

If you are on the raiding side, you have no choice but to dance in dropped camps where everyone can see you. Mind diseases are used heavily during pvp, so we could be a real asset. Also, the doctors healing in the camps could really use us. We were intended to be able to heal blue wounds out in the field, if this was PVE it wouldn't be an issue. For pvp though, it is a very big deal that our choice is to either heal both our allies and enemies or no one at all.

Buffs are not the issue as much since they are targeted.

It seems an easy remedy to your concern would be to not allow this type of denial in NPC cantinas. I don't really agree with you, but that could be done easily enough from a coding side I'm guessing. After all, the NPC cantinas already have some kind of separate zone state which allows BF healing and doesn't allow any wound healing but blues.

How about instead one of..

  • Make overt entertainers only able to heal same faction

  • Make overt entertainers not able to heal overt of the opposing faction

  • If you must be covert, you'd get a TEF for doing this.

One of those options would have a better chance of making it in game. To do something sweepingly faction related while/to coverts would undermine the whole concept of covert.

I think that addresses the PvPproblem Tiaga, but I've never been factioned...

Doing those three would still balance out our ent healing with medic healing no matter what and I think that would be a good thing.

The only scary thing about doing it that way is that it puts us in more risk being passive healers. Only a CM area heal has the same risk for the medics. On the one hand, I feel like you should be willing to be forced into overt or TEFed if you are factioned... on the other hand, this would make a whole lot more ents unwilling to faction. Like my weanie self, hehe.

I know I am in the minority here but I don't think deny service of any kind is a good idea and I don't find entertaienrs healing in the middle of a battle field a very good idea either

To be honest, I've never denied service, although I am glad that the option is available if ever I need it and I dofeel that it should be made more effective for those who do use it. But, then - I don't ignore people either (to me it gives the control over to them).

And as far as entertainers healing in the battlefield . . . well, we had a planned intra-guild battle between TF and TFKa couple of weeks ago and three of us little dancers were safely tucked away in a house off the battlefield . . . unforutnately, thelocation was changed at the last moment and we ended up being about 700 meters away from our team and were totally useless to them! LOL!
