I looked around and didn't see any other mention of this. I was just wanting to know if anyone else has ever noticed that some of the names of the dances are incorrect. I'm not a professional dancer but I have just spent a week watching dance competitions at work, namely a large amout of Lyrical style dancing. There lyrical dances in SWG bear no relation to the actual thing, in fact what sony has named "formal" seems to be very close to 90% of the lyrical dancing I saw.
Now maybe I'm just being picky, but it seems to me this would be an easy fix, or maybe I'm just completely wrong. Anyhow, I just thought I'd bring this up and see if anyone else felt the same way.

Yes, lots of us have puzzled over this... I just don't think anybody feels like this is an important battle right now. Plus it is a fantasy world, so I guess they could add in ball room latin and call it "Groove-groove Happy Dance" if they wanted to. The fact that they have used real dance names is what makes it a little weird.
Although, many other profs have weird little misnomers like this, so it's not really a unique dancer issue. *shrug*
(for some reason poplock really bugs me, is it the liquid moves from raves by way of 80's break dancing? or is it Michael Jackson pop? Is it Michael Jackson at a rave? What? *sigh*)
