I've noticed, 3 times now that my long bios (couldn't even add a period it was that long) just seem to dissapear and leave one lonely word.

Perform

Now I was asked about this an hour after I noticed it.... and he said he'd seen a lot of entertainers with this one single word.

So. I wonder where this might come from? The only time I write perform is in /setperform

And I am tired of losing my bio. (I'm gonna write it and save it on my computer this time! muahaha!)

All I can think of is that some of us are typing /setperform lightly wrong and that somewhere between /set and perform we are adding something that sends the 'perform' part of the command to replace our entire Bio.

Keep an eye out... if we figure out what it is then we can get it fixed or just stop doing it hehehe. Also be sure to check your bio... it might be wiped out hehe.

/set perform will cause this to happen. Make sure it's always /setperform no space.

/pout- took me a long time to come up with my original bio only to have it erased and then made a new one and it was erased too. now i just have "troublemaker extrordinair" in there. it's easier to retype.

I can't figure out how /set could affect the profile at all. oh well hehehe But now mine is saved to my hard drive too. Muahhahaha!

I made a /setperform macro key that I use... maybe that would help?

I have never used /setperform, i just use /setp its shorter hehe

I tested this tonight... if you type /set *text* your bio changes to whatever came after the /set. Tonight I typed /set Drygo is a huge hunk of man-meat and it changed my bio to that. LOL

First--What Fuschia says is right. I'm undeniably one of the hottest Twi'leks on Kettemoor

Second--Finally I know why my long bio was deleted one day and the word "waypoint" took it's spot. Must have /set waypoint at some point. hahaha...good to know.
