I know this is a minor concern
But I went through and tried out all the flourishes in every dance and I must admit, they DO in fact seem a lot smoother and more fluid than on current live. To me, looking good while you dance is very important
So I was happy when I could sort of confirm they at least improved this. There are some flourishes in poplock 1 and 2 that could still use some work. The basic dances, I didn't spend much time looking at cause I rarely do most of those dances.
The most impressive for me was Exotic 3. There was normally an odd little "interrupt" or, well, can't describe it, in between flourishes. I didn't even notice it for the most part.
So, all in all, dances are at least looking a little better and more polished. If anyone actually cares?

I care.
I've always wanted the dances to look as well animated as possible.
I would bet a lot of the real dancers care. The buffbots and such like don't, because they don't watch their toons anyway. But those who watch them do care.
A real question here is -- do they look better just to us, or the general audience as well? This has been an issue before, many times.

i haven't tried out dancing yet on TC, but all the animations seem to be a little smoother. i do have a little concern about it though, how do you handle the fact that your avatar is always looking away from the camera? it's like the chase camera is on and theres no way to turn it off. gah, thats annoying! i like to look at more of my character than just it's back!

*claps for Chii's new sig*
I used to shout "clean cup, move down!" and then sing "clean cup! clean cup! move down! move down! clean cup, move down!" in Corcan when people did lyrical... formally known as the dance of madness, heh.
For some reason, only a few people got that. *snickers*

Tangleweb the CU seems to automatically set your keymapping style to Most MMOs so you need to go into options keymap and change it back to SWG style.

As far as I've seen from the developers we are stuck with the new icons. The keymapping is easily changed by going into options, forget the exact route you need to take, but you can change it back to SWG live controls.

You should be able to turn chase camera off. Either in your keymapping options, or somewhere in your options or controls menu. For me, its the period on the numpad. So I can spin my camera around to face my front.

the icons won't really bother me all that much if i can still walk around normally and use my f-keys the same way. the test center movement, having to hit enter before i can chat, and using the number keys to access the toolbar will drive me ape poop!
