Please don't flame me!! I'm really curious how this can be overpowered?

I mean Doctors can buff themselves to the gills, as well as buff others.

If they made self Mind buffing at Master Dance only, it would definately keep out the dabblers. So why can't we buff ourselves?

Unless I missed something important, this should be possible.

Any insight would be helpful, and please dont flame, its an honest question.

In the Sims, you could buy a mirror to practice your public performances and improve your performing skill.

We don't have mirrors -- then again, I hate analogies to the Sims

I love The Sims!

I assume the reason we can't buff ourselves is because, as Entertainers, we can work on image Designing and image designing uses Mind stat. Doctors (et al) also use Mind for their primary ability. Since they can't buff the stat that they use, neither can we. (Just my speculation.)

Probably because we're already so uber, what with the slip and fall stuff and all, that SOE wouldn't want to make us any more so and create a massive Dancer Class imbalance and throw the whole game out of whack resulting in all the BH's complaining that we now own them and they're all going to quit unless they nerf us...Yes I'm sarcastic, yes I'm tired of SOE not doing anything to make being a master dancer more fun and worthwhile, no I hardly play anymore because I got master and got sick of the 4 new florishes and seeing myself fall every minute and burning thru my action pool in under 2 minutes, hell what dancer in real life can dance more than 2 minutes anyway, it just isn't possible I guess...Anyway the boards are more fun than playing my dancer it seems so really why bother. The only reason I haven't deleted my girl is that she's too cute to destroy, but I'm hoping I'll get over that after I don't get the urge to play for another month or so.

Sincerely,

But we use Action! not mind.

I'd still like to see a response on this. I can't come up with any reason a Master Dacner shouldn't be able to buff their own mind.

Honestly, the only reason I can think of why we can't buff ourselves is because our buffs and healsimply that the audienceis at ease, relaxing, and forgeting their problems. (Work with me here) When I'm on stage, trying to remember which flourish comes next and which dance my group assigned to which song, it's kinda hard to relax and forget my problems.

On the other hand - has anyone tried /watching another dancer in your group? In theory, it should work. We could just buff each other
