Dancer Archive

If you've had it happen to you or seen it happen with our buffs please post your experience here. I'm especially intrested to see if this is a bug that only happens with other entertainer or if complete non entertainers are also able to get this stacking bug. (thinking its a bug only among other entertainers) This will be very useful to help find the problem and get it corrected with the least amount of side effects possible.

We've already discussed this elsewhere, Ravenmist, but I thought I should add my experience here just for the sake of completeness:

My main character, Ricky Starwalker, is a Master Musician/Master Entertainer/Novice Carbineer, but yesterday he played no music at all. Instead, he sat in the Coronet cantina and /watched a Master Dancer dance. We were not grouped; the Dancer did /setperform on me, and I got the double Mind buff as normal. Later we grouped, and again I just sat and /watched while the Dancer buffed me; I don't remember whether she used /setperform this time or not. My Mind doubled again, up to around2400 or more this time. We tried it again, and once again my Mind doubled, this time to more than 4500.At no time did I danceor play. In other words, I functioned just like any other Carbineer. In fact, that's why I was there inthe first place; I had a little BF to heal.
