1. At master dancer how many seconds maximum does it take after you do a flourish to perform another flourish? 6 seconds? 8 seconds?

2. Does the type of dance affect how long it takes to buff someone?

3. Approx. how long does it take to dance buff someone using full flourishes as much as possible?

4. How does the 2 minute "You must watch before any buffs may be applied" work? Did this change add even more time?

5. How long to dance when buffing a group of 2 or more?

1) My experiance is that you can do 5 flourishes in 10 seconds. If you do the 5 flourishes in the first second and then none for nine, or one every 2 seconds shouldn't make a difference... My buffmacro tries to do a flourish every 1 second, so is done after 5, the next 5 flourishes are just ignored then.

2) Not sure, i think it does, would have to test if i can buff someone with basic

3) 3:10 minutes always worked for me

4) was already said

5) I heard it takes the same amount of time as a single buff (3:10 minutes), i always do 4 or 5 minutes in group though, since i also heard that it takes longer, haven't tested it so far

I'll give you my opinions, I'm sure others will share theirs as well.

1. At master dancer how many seconds maximum does it take after you do a flourish to perform another flourish? 6 seconds? 8 seconds?

It sort of depends on the dance. You can flourish via macro as much as every second, but the flourish animations themselves won't all show. They will still count as flourishes for the buff though. As far as performing another flourish that you can actually SEE, it depends on the flourish. For example, flourish 1 in Exotic 4 takes a pretty long time, more than 10 seconds I'd guess, whereas flourish 4 is much quicker.

2. Does the type of dance affect how long it takes to buff someone?

Not real clear on this one. I always believed that the type of dance affected the power and duration of the buff - i.e. you should do one of your highest dances in order to give the full 100% for two hours mind buff. However, that's more of a personal superstition and it may in fact be completely wrong. It doesn't matter really which dance you do when it comes to how long APPLICATION of the buff takes. That's always some magical number of flourishes (rumors of 150), which it might take you 3, 4, 8, 10, or more minutes to perform.

3. Approx. how long does it take to dance buff someone using full flourishes as much as possible?

I think if you are quickness/stamina buffed and you flourish every second via a macro, you can buff someone in about 3 and a half minutes. I always do four minutes, just to be safe.

4. How does the 2 minute "You must watch before any buffs may be applied" work? Did this change add even more time?

Apparently it is only a minimum. So if you danced for only one minute 55 seconds the patron would not get a buff. You have to be dancing for more than two minutes. Other than that it really has no effect. You can still give a speedy buff in 3-4 minutes using constant flourishes.

5. How long to dance when buffing a group of 2 or more?

Once again I'm not really sure. I know back when I was doing a buff in 8-10 minutes I'd do group buffs for about 15 minutes and that seemed to work. It's possible that the passive (group) buff takes no longer than a directed buff, assuming the same amount of flourishes. I haven't tested it, maybe someone here has.

Hope that helps.
