I'll keep it brief here. I hope everyone had a wonderful time. It was the largest crawl yet with over 80 folks in attendance. We visited, I think, 4 cantinas (maybe 5, it's all a blur), and then ended up on the steps of the Theed palace.
I know that every time there are a few who, for one reason or another, end up feeling less than enthused about the crawls. It would be a rare event indeed to have 80 people and everyone be totally satisfied with how everything went off. As always, comments and suggestions about the crawls are welcomed at the gypsy forum (click on my sig). There always seems to be a good discussion over there about how to improve, as well as future ideas, both for the events and the videos.
Speaking of the videos, this one will be delayed. I've not even started post production. I'm using a new technique in the transfer of the footage that uses up more disk space but preserves more quality, and over 15 gig of source footage was shot on this event. As a result, my poor little laptop drive finally maxed out and I've been unable to begin editing pending the arrival of a bigger drive (which arrived today). I expect the video to premiere early next week.
In the meantime, my thanks go out to the crew who worked so hard, and of course the cast (all the dancers, musicians and the road crew). I can't express how heartening it is to me to see so many people coming out just to have fun entertaining.

Yay! Thanks for the all the work you're putting into this, Javier!
I had a great time! It was so great seeing that many folks having fun and entertaining like crazy.
I'm still laughing about the streams of people running out of the cantinas to the shuttleport. There were so many of us, all in our dancing outfits or carrying our instruments.
What a blast, I'll be coming out to every one I can definitely. Makes me wish I'd gotten in on them earlier.
Why does RL have to distract from my Star Wars...lol.
