Hey all, I just started a dancer named Linsul on Kauri. I just want to ask about dancer/musician clothing really quickly. I have a leo with the folowing mods:

dancer mind enhancement +5

BF healing (dance) +5

Dancer/Musician wound healing +25

4 sockets

Is that any good? Are there any CA's I should be looking for? Thanks to any who reply!

heh... i got a leotard on the radiant server wiv all those enhancements for 6k =)

On some servers it's 1mil/point for the lower level CAs (+5ish) and higher for larger (+10 or greater).

i dropped 1mil for a +3 music mind enhancement tape once. but i also got an AV-21 as a tip... go figure!

Be careful with the Clothing Attachments. Skill mods do NOT stack. This means that if you try to put a CA for dancing mind enhancement onto the leotard you will replace the +5 that is there rather than add to it. So the fact that it has 4 sockets isn't doing much for you. A quick look at the stats and I think the only mods you could add would be musical mind enhancement and BF healing (music). As you progress as an entertainer you'll get faster and faster at healing wounds and BF so I wouldn't stress too much about finding CA's for those (especially since BE clothing is usually far cheaper and gives you a wider variety of outfits). With the changes coming to the combat side of things, there's no telling what's going to happen with the demands/requirements for mind buffs. So my advice would be that you not worry too much about the bonus stats you are providing with your healing and eventually your buffing. Concentrate on learning your profession, meeting people, and having fun.

BE clothing only does wound healing not BF healing. That's why the leotard has +25 dancer wound healing. They don't come that way, that's BE tissue.

The only thing that helps BF healing is CAs, which makes all the wound healing enhancements in the world fairly useless since BF usually takes longer to heal anyway.

Yes. What the leo would be worth depends on the server economy. Are you sure that it is both dancer's and musician's wound healing +25? On Infinity it would be worth like 100k credits, like any other exquisite dancer's leotard (not to be confused with exotic leotards)... the special enhancements in dancer's wound healing don't raise the worth, since you must wait for the BF healing when you have a wounded curtsomer anyway.

PS: Oh, I forgot the last question. For dancer's the most important skill is dancer's mind enhancement, since it makes your buffs better. The total of the dancer's mind enhancement skill is always the percentage of the unmodified customers mind the buff grants additionally.
A master dancer buffs at 100%. A master dancer with an exquisit dancer's leotard at 105%. It is possible to pump it up to 105%, but skill tapes are the only way to even higher it. Theoretical maximum is 125%.
This however makes this tapes extremely expensive by dancer standards. Tapes up to +3 or +4 are worth about 100k per point on most servers. Higher tapes are worth more. A +5 tape is seldom sold for less than on million credits.
The problem is that most tapes aren't bought by dancers but by combat guilds tp provide their buffb**s with it. And you have to be high level combatant to loot one. I hear NS are good, though I never looted one from a nightsister.

Thanks so much for the replies!! They have helped greatly, Im having alot of fun dancing and playing music. Everyone in the cantina has been really nice and very patient and helpful. It's been a blast so far!
