Well, I tested the new being-able-to-login feature this morning. That worked pretty well

I noticed about 6 new bugs or so in the first 10 minutes of play, but nothing dance related. I do have the strange sensation that my hands got a little bigger, but perhaps I am imagining that. The /setperform feedback message is bugged, but I think that was already well known.

Yeah, our dev should know about that, I've mentioned it to him. I think he wanted to fix it but they pushed it live before he could. Theres a few other things he wanted to fix and change but ran out of time. Hopefully we'll see them all soon.

Is there anyway to clear your /setperform target?

/denyservice?

Y'know, that would make for an interesting test scenario. Maybe if you alternate /setperform and /deny really fast you can make somebodies head explode...

Well you might be able to do that Slickriptide, a few random posts have said the buffs killed them when they wore off. Also somebody on the rifleman forum said their willpower dropped when getting the mindbuff.

Another rifleman got both the dancer and musician buff at the sametime and said his mind was regenerating so fast he could not really see the white bar when doing headshots(we usually can't shoot more than five or six shots without killing ourselves)./drools

Can't wait to get home and check it out.

ugh, first post eaten.

Okay, lets see. The only way I know of to untarget someone who you did a /setperform on is to target yourself and do it, and I'm not entirely sure that works.

And as far as the damage to willpower bug goes. That was a known bug on Test Center (wonderful how this stuff makes it live huh?) thats caused by Musician and Chef buffs. (we where still in the process of trying to figure out what exactly causes the bug to happen since it doesn't happen all the time, dying does fix the stat loss tho) Dancers buffs aren't affected by this and as far as I know our buffs are safe... never knew anyone that died from one. But keep me posted please.

Okay not sure what happened here but:

I had a guy group with me, gave him the passive buff. All was well. He was happy.

He died. Came back. Tried to rebuff. Couldn't rebuff him with the passive or active buffs, in spite of him doing all the /watch /stopwatch stuff right, and me using /setperform. Any idea what we might have been doing wrong?

I have noticed this too. I active buffed a guy in the cantina last night (when I could finally get on!) and it worked fine. The same guy came back today and asked me to buff him again, but it would just not work - no matter how hard or long I flourished.

I think there may still be a few little 'wrinkles' in these buffs to be ironed out.

Isn't the /setperform command a toggle? In other words, if you're performing for someone, and you /setperform again, doesn't that stop it?

Well, it was kind of weird that they finally fixed the poplock fall animation... Heh...

Here's something non mind buff related...

They removed the music from Mos Eisley cantina, and I remember talking to a master dancer who liked coming to Mos Eisley because it always had background music
