Thread: the passive buff and /join
How about making the passive buff a less effective active buff that can be targetted to multiple people? (and removing the passive buff as we know it)
IE: /setpassivebuff %tt... it would only work on grouped people... you could do it multiple times. that might cut down on quite a bit of the afk /join buffers, more work for us... but not that much more. opinions? problems?
there's afk /join'ers already?
I wouldn't think most combat types would even try this.. wow.
what i meant was dancers who are afk with a /join in their macro. so they join a group and give a free passive buff, then the group dumps the entertainer when they leave. )
if there was no passive buff, but insteada weaker active that could be put on multiple targets this would do away with that.
I've seen it happening...not sure what the AFKers motives are but in her macro she had it in there to say "invite me for group mind buff...."

altruism? hah. an insatiable desire to heal and buff the minds of others 24/7? tips? competition with others? like it or not some people do tip afk dancers, especially on the advanced worlds.
I like Ravenmists idea on this i think i will be using it.
Join up two afk'rs who are spamming about the buff, then just make one of them the leader and drop out. Problem solved
